This place annoys me. The quality of the food is exceptional. However the older lady uses slight of hand to put your item in a paper bag using her bare hands thinking she is shielded by the counter front full of food. This is very poor hygiene and a bit sneaky. Then when you ask for it to be heated she put it into an open oven for 30 seconds which she knows full well will make the outside hot but leave the contents inside ice cold. Why do this? Like you know it’s going to be a really unsatisfying experience for the customer to eat that. Very pricey, used it be a great Lebanese bakery. I knew the owner she was so lovely and kind, now she is working on and off, since this, her husband started running the business and it has completely change to the worse. He is not respectful towards his customers and workers. And he is always charging an extra couple bucks even when I just bought the same thing for a different price. Last time I asked for a zatar wrap with veggies, he charged me $7 ($5 extra for 3 slices of tomato and chopped onions nothing else) + 50c to pay by a card.
