Getting dinner for family on the way home from work. Pizza Box (Kogarah) was the intention, it was closed, plan B. Parking spot in front of Hariri, took the opportunity and gave it a try. It’s around 5:30pm and it’s busy. That’s a good sign. Ordered 4 different chicken burgers, chips and fried chicken. I didn’t need the fried chicken but was curious because I do like my fried chicken. Interesting to see other menu items like butter chicken for a place that is known for it being Lebanese. Waited longer than expected and they appeared to run out of rotisserie bbq chicken as other customers needed to wait 30 mins. I didn’t order the bbq chook but when they started to come out they did look awesome. Finally got the food. Fed family. All enjoyed the burgers, just as good if not better than Oporto. I didn’t like the prego sauce they provided on the side with burgers. Chips were better than most. And the fried chicken was not oily and had a nice crunch. Very similar to Broasters. Want to try bbq chook. It was value for money for the quality of the food. $10 to $14 for each chicken burger. 👍

The Mog Champ sends his regards. Hariri Chickens stood out as an amazing BBQ chicken selection when I was finding a place to dine with a friend in Kogarah! We definitely don't regret that decision! Such a good value getting a family meal just to share between the two of us. In the family deal we got a whole BBQ chicken, medium-sized chips, salad which got swapped up with the pickles and bread. We waited only around 5 mins to receive our order for takeaway, they don't have that many seating inside to begin with but it's slightly cheaper taking away as well! How they prepared the chicken was surprising to me, they wrapped it entirely in a thin piece of bread and by the time it was ready to eat, it was crispy. I've never seen chicken prepared like that before and they sure do like putting their own spin on it. We were overly satisfied with it all in general. Thanks for the dinner Hariri, hopefully many chicken and protein lovers come here as well! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ

Edit: It's going a year and a half later, and we still eat here once a week at least!!! My partner and I had to take a break due to the exhaustion of a house move and thought we'd pop in at Hariri's! During the day, we kept driving by for the house move, and the smell just drove a mad craving for some charcoal chicken! We ordered and thought we would sit outside and we were met shorty by a gentleman called Jack, man was he amazing. Most importantly, he realised we were in need of cleaning our hands and showed us the amenities. He took us to the back garden (which I didn't expect, shisha service and all) and where he sat us down. Really cool vibe back there. The back area lunch break was pleasant, and the food was great. It hit the right spot! I'm definitely becoming a regular as I've moved into the area!

You know when you’ve eaten somewhere and it’s pretty good and then you don’t eat it for a while but in your memories it was so awesome and so you make a plan to go there again but it doesn’t live up to the hype you made about it?

Happens a lot right? But that’s not what happened… and if you sit through and read what I’m sure will be a long long long review you will see why it was WAY better than my memory!

I’ve been here many times and each time Have left feeling full but wanting more and looking forward to coming back again.

I got the Angry Franky Burger combo and when it came out it still had steam coming off it. But I wasn’t worried about burning my mouth because I’m well experienced in ohahahohahaohahow.

Chips were cooked and seasoned to perfection and that little tub of sauce that it comes with…my god it’s good! Not that you need it, like the chips hold their own but man that sauce just elevated it to a new level.

Now the burger.

Angry Franky Burger……. You have absolutely no right to taste the way you do! First bite had me hooked! Overwhelmed with joy and flavour! Breads nice and soft but doesn’t fall apart, right amount of cheese and sauce…again the sauce isn’t overdone or masking the chicken it’s there to compliment it so its not ridiculously messy or falling apart. Chicken itself had immense flavour and juicy. You can tell it’s a good quality chicken used because there wasn’t any gristle or anything like you get at some other places.

It’s always busy here every time I come here whether it’s a raining Tuesday or Sunny Sunday which is a testament to this establishment for consistently producing fresh, quality and super tasty food day in and day out.

Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could rate it higher I would

Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Always friendly and understanding. They have customised things for my partner in the past when she was pregnant. Although they work super hard to bring you the food as quick as possible so it’s steaming as it arrives, be prepared to wait a bit for your order purely due to the amount of customers they have but honestly they do well for how busy they get

Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall pretty good, the seating out back is comfy and looks nice, nicely decorated. Only thing that bothered me was few customers were smoking after their meal which made us rush to finish our meal and leave.

Price wise honestly not bad either considering the quality of food.

Definitely...

I stumbled upon this place purely by chance this evening when I walked by after finishing work, and although I wasn't hungry prior picking up on the awesome aroma of this place, I decided I couldn't deny myself the opportunity to try something new. As previously stated, it was the smell that grabbed me...The different herbs and spices wafting in the air coupled with the undeniable scent of their AMAZING chickens roasting away in the flame grill! 🤤 (My mouth is watering again just thinking about it.) There were several groups, seated about the place sharing what looked to be heavily portioned platters of delicious food including pickles, dips, salads and rices with flat breads etc to accompany the marvelous chicken centerpieces. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with a few of the seated groups obviously being families, smiling and chatting amongst themselves. The staff was nothing short of spectacular, with a special mention to one member in particular named 'Cash' who along with the great food, was the inspiration to write this very rare review by me. I had no idea where to start, with everything looking so good and sadly only having one stomach to fill, so asked the extremely helpful Cash a bunch of questions which he promptly answered with enthusiasm, before finally settling on a meal of chicken and beef jasmine rice which I can't even begin to describe but would probably do best to say mention its savory taste with a slight undertone of sweetness... perhaps clove or nutmeg?? Regardless, I'd rather not speculate for fear of not doing it any injustice as it was tely wonderful! With my rice I had a mix of Kafta stewed in a sauce of tomato, onion, capsicum and I can't remember what else which had a beautiful slight tang to it and was a perfect compliment to the tasty Kaftas bursting with their own herbed goodness. On top of this already very sizeable meal portion I just couldn't leave without trying their super crunchy fried chicken which looked and smelled ALMOST as good as it tasted along with the grilled chicken wings and although feeling absolutely stuffed by this point, I have to say that once again the food was nothing short of impressive as was my experience for the entirety of my time eating here. A well deserved review of a great establishment... I'll be...

ZERO STARS! WORST CHICKEN SHOP EVER! 1st time I came the chips were stale & I threw them away. This time, only 2 staff working during busiest hour, they served several customers that were behind me as they obviously forgot the order. No apologies plus I'm disabled also. After waiting 20 minutes, I told them i wanted fresh chips. They continued to serve the fresh chips to an eat-in customer as they could complain if bad. He even whispered something to the server when he was making the order for the customer maybe 4 orders behind me yet serving before me. It's obvious if I take away that I can't complain. They served me a few fresh ones with the 20 minute leftover stale chips that I specifically told them I didn't want. He then went on to straight out lie/argue with me that they were fresh even though both my father & myself witnessed his entire actions. I maybe disabled but not blind & have seem this take away shop scam used many times. It's very easy, you cook chips to order & you wouldn't have to lie to customers to sell old stock as fresh. Waste of time & a trip to Kogarah. Customer service is terrible also as most other reviews state. Be wary, there are some shady business practices here. Will never return, only gave a 2nd chance due to close location. If their food quality is anything like their service, I would definitely rethink purchasing anything from Hariri Chickens. Don't bother giving fake excuses & replies here as you know yourself that you were totally in the wrong. I rarely write reviews also but this was...
