Very disappointed in @Plain Folk at Wentworth Point
Ordered 2 x burgers, one of which vegetarian without eggplant plus cheese fries.
Uber driver late - says bike broke down. Maybe.
Got the burger, with eggplant and cheese fries, no additional burger.
Plus the burger we did have was in pieces.
In fact it’s disgusting.
By time realise Uber is gone.
Phone Plain Folk - say nothing they can do - go to Uber. Then asked us to pay for another burger, which we had already paid for!!
Mistakes happen but the lack of customer service astounds me. No offer to send another burger free - literally down Hill Road.
For a long time customer, if they had offered to send a new burger - all fine but no refused.
Short term view.
Had to go through the corporate BS of Uber.
I remember delivering pizzas whilst I was at Uni - if I was very late or pizza, I had to go back and deliver a brand new one.
Hang your heads in shame Ploan Folk - lived locally for 10 years - ordered almost as long - won’t be getting another order.

Read moreFirst of all, why do the tables have ordering QR codes when the ordering system is for take-away/pick up orders? Because of this our food took an extremely long time with groups of customers who arrived after us receiving their food first.
Plain Folk Burger ($14): Asked for medium rare and got served rubbery meat. Rest of the burger was average. Wouldn't order again nor would recommend. King Prawn Burger ($16): Pretty much daylight robbery...The KING PRAWN (mind you) was no where to be found in the over processed fish cake. You don't say King Prawn when you can't even see or taste the prawns at all. The slaw was overpowering and bitter....why is there sauerkraut on my expensive fish cake? Horrendous. Cheese sticks ($7): More like rubber sticks. Sweet potato wedges: These were regular chips not wedges. Was crunchy and decent but was overly powdered with the cheese powder/seasoning. Wish the seasoning was optional.
Overall, wouldn't come back as it was not worth the price for...
Read moreHad the pleasure of chatting with lovely Sarah a few days ago who explained the menu to us as we had not tried their food before. Firstly let me say. Sarah is a lovely lady, very friendly and professional and at no time was there any pressure to buy! Sarah did inform us though that we would enjoy the food. Today I had the opportunity to try the Hit Chic Burger meal and wow what can I say other than it was sensational. The grilled chicken was mouth watering and the whole combination of the burger was so fresh and tasty. The chips were hot, crunchy and taste the way hot chips should taste. Without a doubt I have to say that this Burger shop is what Wentworth Point needed. Highly recommended if your after a great tasting burger of your choice in a great location with awesome owners and staff and no I’m not related in any way. Just an avid burger and good food lover. Thanks Sarah and Chef. Definitely be one if your...
