An awesome park for walking and playing with the dogs! Lots of well maintained and tidy fields and open grass areas. We rarely find any poo as there are numerous waste bins dotted around the park to help encourage responsible behaviour. The park is used frequently by sports clubs and groups but even at its busiest there’s still a lot of space to throw ball with your dog and not have to compete with other dogs. The park is adjacent to the Parramatta river walk which has a small stretch of river beach fenced off as an off-lead area. Great for any doggy water babies but always wash them off when you get home. There is another large off lead field near Andrew St south of the golf course where Meadowbank dog group members regularly meet. It’s a great place to meet other dog owners and socialise your dogs both with other dogs and with other people who know how to react with and around dogs of all kinds. Great little group! Only downside is the lack of bench seating around the park for when you get tired but the well maintained grass is so inviting to sit on when weather permits. Me and the dogs just love this place and we are happy for the 10 min drive so we can enjoy a 40min outing at the park... there is a skate park and BBQ facilities around the place but I’ll leave that for someone else to review....
Read moreA great deal of space available, right in the heart of the suburbs. Plenty of parking all around, the park is easily accessible for people of all ages. The children's playground has been recently renovated and the new skate park is extremely popular. Badminton courts, cricket nets, netball hoops, cycling and walking paths all cumulate to a wonderful experience. The park is very clean, with plenty of picnic spots. An expansive, off leash dog park forms the rear of the park. The dog owners community here are very warm, friendly and welcoming. The council provides poo bags and a ball library for every tail to share. The dock down the road is ideal for a beautiful sunset. My favourite, in the whole of Sydney (so far).

The toilet area and toilets themselves are really dirty. No idea how often they're cleaned but doesn't seem often enough.
There aren't enough rubbish bins where patrons end up leaving them on the floor beside the bin areas, which attracts ibises and other visitors. The recycling bin is always over flowing and a local is there nearly everyday emptying out to collect cans who doesn't bother putting other recycling back. Very unsightly for the kids to see someone go through these bins and be waist deep. Recommend all to visit but pick your timing throughout the day It gets crazy with the...
