Poké Mix — Restaurant in Sydney

A couple of months of ago I loved this place however over the last 6 weeks they have been very inconsistent and I don’t believe the chef/sous chef/prep staff can read instructions/notes

Tonight I believe is the last time I order as they still are not getting instructions/notes right and made a complete mess of the ingredients

Ordered 3 filler up bowls and specifically requested no Sriracha sauce. What did they do? They put the sauce in! Lucky I rocked up early this time to especially advise the lovely waiter who checked up on this!

Reset, remake and after waiting quite a while longer, I received the orders, took them home and couldn’t work out which bowl was which

I ordered mine with Kale, it was left out

Another person ordered there’s with glass noodles. It was left out

And the 3rd person just didn’t really like it and wanted to take it all back

Oh and the brown rice was like solid blocks/gluggy. Mine has sushi rice so I expected that and I don’t mind it

Sorry guys but gave it a chance and I wanted to impress some other people with it but biggest suggestion here is to replace some staff, micro manage or maybe teach them to read :)

Below average for a $20 poke bowl. Glass noodles were not cooked enough so were hard, left off an ingredient, asked for mayo on the side and they put it on top. Also the girls making the bowls were not wearing gloves or masks and one of the girls was shaking the dressing has her finger over the whole with no gloves on. No excuses for bad hygiene especially during covid. Don’t think they’ll be there...

I ordered the Boongy bowl and it was amazing, fish was fresh, nicely cut and fresh vegetables. Good dressing and it’s pretty healthy, if you love king fish I’d recommend to have this bowl and don’t forget to add seaweed salad ( if you like seaweed) for the best combo. I got it with sushi rice at the bottom it’s more filling. The place is clean and spacious. Will be back...
