Overall my visits to this Campbelltown restaurant have been great but recently for example my birthday on Tuesday 11th l went with my sister and husband and l felt uncomforable. When we tried to order an alcolholic drink we where told we they had to get someone over age to take the order which was fine but when asked what we wanted we found the waitress / server to be rude and foreful asking " Are you the one who wants to order an alcoholic drink", infering there was something wrong with that. There was also a hair in my husabands sauce and they only comped the sauce? Really? Upon asking if we could get a further discount they said "Yes, we took the sauce off the total". One a seperate occasion we ordered over the phone and they stuffed the order up completly, giving us the wrong pasta, the portions sizes where dramatically smaller than last time we ordered in that same week, the coffess which are $6.70 large where flat (both ordered cappicuno) and cold and sugar wasnt put in which was requested, turkey was missing off Eggs benedict and eggs where broken and soaked all bread which is good if you don't have teeth but we do and we enjoy chewing our food not drinking. Would not go back am sad but feel the quality is going down
Unhappy regular
Also, contacted Rashays many times on this contact 1300 number and no help was ever given by Uber. I asked several times to talk to a manger but was left on hold for over 10 minutes and then Taylia came back and asked me the same questions that l had already taken the time to answer then put me on hold again and eventually after waiting a total of 1 hour l hung up.... Rashays need to take responsibility for there establishment and stop differing the fault to uber.. Would not buy from this business...

Came in for lunch today, noticed the servers busy so I waited at the front desk to be allocated a table. Sat down a bench table after a speaking with a server arriving at the front desk to greet me. She did not provide a menu to review so I assume I would be given the menu at the table later. Waited for 5-10 minutes, no service. While sitting at my table, noticed 2 other customers ordering directly at the front desk as they weren’t serviced at all.
Decided to do the same after reviewing their menu online on my phone… Spoke with the server at the front and ordered and provided feedback I wasn’t given a menu to review. I was promptly told to use the QR code on the table to review the menu and order. Which is not what I was used too, I been visiting this Rashays locations for years….
Walking back to my table, the server came 2 minutes later to show me the QR code brochure to use next time to order, normally this wouldn’t be an issue for me in other places, but the problem was I was never told this was the new norm at Rashays.
Waited 20 minutes for my lunch order to arrive, longer than I usually waited for lunch, place was 1/3 capacity at this time. At this point I was hoping the food would redeem my experience so far, unfortunately my steak was serviced well-done when I asked for medium. Steak was not pink, even from the middle. I thought about sending I back, however given the time already here, I decided to eat it as I’m on my lunch break. Also, servers at rashays would check up on you after 10 minutes servicing your food, that did not happen here as well. Total let down on the service and food today. Not visiting anytime soon...
Read moreThis restaurant has gone down hill ever since the new owners took over. My mother and I went to have breakfast there. We had to wait around 20 mins before our order was finally taken. My mum ordered the big breakfast and I ordered the berry pancakes. The waiter came out and said they had no tomatoes, so could they provide avocado instead, which we agreed to. The owner (a Bangladeshi man) bought the food out. There was only one sausage on my mum’s plate, and he said that this is how it’s meant to be. I pointed out that the picture showed two, and the waiter (who was very nice, by the way) said it’s meant to be two. The owner then went into the kitchen along with the waiter, and it looked like an argument was taking place. I looked down and saw instead of pancakes, I’d been given cheesecake. At this point, we had already been there for an hour. I told the waiter we would pay for the coffees we had and that we were leaving. The waiter offered to pack the food free of charge, but the owner came charging over aggressively. He aggressively followed us up to the counter and looked like he was going to yell, but the lovely waiter took control. The waiter didn’t pack the food, which is understandable considering how aggressively the owner was acting, plus we didn’t want it anyway. What an appalling experience!
Incidentally we were sharing the experience we had with the receptionist at the doctors office and they also shared the horrible experience they had during lunch last week. They also said that it used to be a great restaurant but now it’s so bad they’d never go...
