Aalishaan Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Sydney

I was really, really disappointed by our visit last night. As a parent with young children, it's not often that we get to go out for dinner, as it becomes an expensive activity after paying for a babysitter as well. So, I really look forward to a night out! Unfortunately, the experience we had at this restaurant was terrible. I know it's not a 5-star restaurant, but the waitress that we had did not possess any basic waitressing / customer service skills. When we arrived, we followed her to a table, where she just dumped two menus down and kept on walking. We asked her a question about the food, and she shrugged her shoulders and said "it just depends on what you want....." which wasn't very helpful. We were given a bottle of water, but after 45 minutes, I asked how we were to order a drink and she pointed to the drinks menu (which I didn't realise was a drinks menu) and walked off. After waiting another 15 minutes, I had to flag down the other waitress to order a drink. A while after our entree was served, the first waitress came and asked us if we were ready for our main. After replying "yes please", she walked off again without clearing our dirty plates. 15 minutes' later, she came back to collect two plates but left the other two. Another 15 minutes' later, she collected the other two, and when she returned - dumped two plates with knives and forks on top on the edge of the table - she couldn't even be bothered spending less than a minute of her time placing the plates in front of us. Quite a while after that, we were finally served our main meal. The food was nice, but unfortunately the bad customer service just ruined the night, so we left early without ordering dessert. I didn't even bother saying anything about my spoon which still had someone's leftovers on it... It was the night of Halloween, but it just felt tacky that the waitress also was wearing fake, open wounds on her face to celebrate... It wasn't a busy night, and the waitress didn't seem to be rushing - it was just bad customer service. We won't...

I absolutely love their curries! Very flavourful & always cooked to perfection. Unfortunately last night, I ordered delivery at 9pm & didn’t receive it until 11:30! I’ve ordered delivery before and it has always been quick and prompt, after waiting until 10:30 & still hadn’t received my order I decided to ring as the shop was closing . I was put on the phone to the manager that stated my address was an empty block of land… ( they were so close it was 2 houses and across the street from where I live ! ) I didn’t get an apology what so ever from the manager just that I’ll have to wait until they’ve closed and they’ll get someone to drop it off. The delivery person was profusely sorry & stated he was actually confused as he was directed straight to my house. I’m not sure how you would get an order for delivery then not take the time to look for the house number & just go back to the shop without any attempt of contacting me, im sure if I hadn’t contacted you guys I wouldn’t of...

Worst experience doesn’t even qualify for one star! Waiteres wasn’t friendly at all, felt unwelcome and this doesn’t stop here. Ordered our meal and asked for soft drink. Soft drink was served in a glass and was flat. Clearly this was from openned bottle from days ago. Fridge near front counter had plenty of opened bottles of left over drinks in it. Clearly visible. We Then asked for a can. Oh boy waitress wasn’t happy at all from her face expression. Very grumpy failed every thing that a waitress needs to do her job with paying customers. Lastly we asked for left overs to be packed and waitress again put all the served bowls which was on the table on top of our food.. that’s dirty and filthy as bottom of each bowl thst touched the dirty table.
