Last night i arranged a special city road trip for my teenager son Carlos to visit a new cafe restaurant in Ultimo.
Carlos has severe autism & he often refused to entry any new cafe or restaurant.
I decided to take Carlos to visit this Red Lemon Thai cafe restaurant which located at 637 Harris St,Ultimo.
We were greeted by a very friendly & smiley face waitress,Amy. Amy was so lovely & helpful to us.
I ordered Chicken Wings & Pad Sew for Carlos & he loves the chicken wings so much!
I ordered Tom Yum Seafoods & Pad Ka Praw for myself,it was so yummy & very big portion!
Carlos & i both enjoyed our meals at Red Lemon Thai so much!
I will take Carlos to visit Red Lemon Thai cafe again this weekend!
Thank you so much for Red Lemon Thai staff team for your wonderful hospitality service & amazing Thai cuisine to Carlos & me ❤💛

Read moreHad high hopes considering the 4.5 rating but it seems like something has shifted here recently and it has gone downhill.
The food was good, though a bit salty. I got yellow curry with vegetables which came served in a round bottom dish atop a little stand. Maybe I’m just not accustomed to this but it made it tough to eat as I was afraid it would topple over if tried to cut something. They were unable to substitute the fried tofu with soft tofu, which I prefer.
Some items missing from menu (specifically the Thai Green Tea).
When I asked for a napkin I got a tissue box.
I think it’s just the one server and one cook. Never was checked in on after I was served. Made they had some takeaway orders, but I didn’t get the feeling they were busy.
I was only person there when I arrived. Mostly empty on a Monday night. A few minutes later a family of 3 showed up. That was it.
Probably will try somewhere...
Read moreRed Lemon Thai is a very unassuming little restaurant which if you blinked, you would miss. It looks more like a tobacconist or corner shop but when you go in you realise it's a modest little eatery with lovely friendly staff who come to life when you enter. The food is very good, extremely good value with hearty servings and all served at break neck speed by the very friendly staff. It's also licensed, does cocktails, has a surprisingly good wine list and the drinks are very cheap. $7 for a Singha beer is excellent value. The other curious thing about this place is every time I have eaten there I have been virtually the only person there. Considering the quality of the food and the service this always surprises me. I'll be back...
