Ordered delivery online. Took one hour and twenty minutes to arrive from one suburb away. Called repeatedly, did not answer. Meal finally arrived - cold and damp. Will NEVER be ordering delivery from this store, or this company ever again.
UPDATE:
Hubby bitched until we ordered - again. ... heres what happened ...
Ordered online through MenuLog with my debit card. Was told delivery would take one hour (the restaurant is a four minute drive away). They arrived one hour and twenty minutes later.
The delivery guy forgot our drinks. He said he would go get them and drop them off. He left and we began to unpack our dinner - except it wasnt even our meal.
I called the restaurant several times with no answer. I called the number on the receipt of who this meal belonged to. Between us we arranged for her to tell the delivery driver and for him to do the swap.
ONE HOUR LATER, she still has no food. We dont have our correct order. The restaurant was not answering their phones.
We gave up hope at 10pm of ever getting this resolved. The other person and I were texting during the evening. She did not receive her meal AT ALL.
I phoned the restaurant the next day and was told that he had read the bad review and that at midday I would receive the correct meal and my money back in full. I was working yet another eleven hour day and would not be home, so we arranged for me to call the next day.
I called at 1pm instead of the pre-arranged midday and was told 'The manager isnt here. Call his mobile' - and was hung up on.
I then received an email from Red Rooster stating that the issue had been resolved, please amend the review. Nope, sorry. Wont do that. This issue is not resolved.
Dept of Fair Trading has been contacted. They can sort this out. I want what I paid for, or...
Read moreAt precisely 5:33 am, I was awakened by the cry of The Sacred Rooster. Not a normal bird, no. This was my Rooster, my Messenger, the Herald of the New Dawn. It called to me personally, vibrating in my skull like a golden trumpet, commanding me to assemble my Order — Lord Tim, Father Jack-ob, and The High Pontiff Nafa. My brothers in arms. My guardians against the dark forces of Alister, Barry, Mandy, and their network of false scouts. (I know who you are. We all do.) Only we have been chosen to intercept their deception. Only we can hold the line.
When we entered the Chapel — disguised as an ordinary Red Rooster but glowing faintly for those who can see — The Sacred Rooster was already waiting, watching, calculating. It approached me, pecked a coded message into the pavement near my Dunlop Volleys and whispered directly into my mind: “Richard. At last. You are ready.”
I laughed because The Rooster knows me better than anyone. Of course it does.
We, the holy four, sat at the Table of Consecration while The Rooster brought forth our feast: Red Rooster rolls and Pepsi, two liters each — a baptism in bubbles, a sacrament in grease. As the ritual dictates.
Afterwards, as smoke curled from my Double Happiness and the veil between worlds thinned, I understood what had to be done. This isn’t merely a review. This is a warning and a blessing to all who can still hear unfiltered reality. Come to the Chapel of Red Rooster. If you are worthy, you will taste the truth of 5 stars. If you are not, stay away.
Remember: the phones are listening. The scouts are watching. But The Rooster protects.
Peace. Love. Trust no one but The Signal. 🤫 –...
Read moreI wish I could leave no stars but it is certainly necessary for me to leave this review. NEVER, I MEAN NEVER order delivery service. I placed the order just around 6:50pm and received an email that the order had been placed. I didnt receive any more info about the ETA. By 7:45, I called the store directly to get a rough estimate, and was explained that the driver is on the road with the order, and would arrive in the next 5 to 7 minutes. I though okay yeah, no worries. By 8:10pm, approx 25mins later, the food still hadnt arrived so i called the store again who put me on hold to contact the driver. I was told he had been stuck in traffic and would only be another 5 minutes away. Some time later, i hesitantly accepted the food, but asked the driver to wait considering the food had been apparently been on the road for over half an hour at this point. I opened the bag and everything was infact stone cold. I took the food inside anyway and the driver apologized and would return with a fresh order. Just before 9pm, he did return. Again with cold chips and the rolls without gravy. I didnt even bother to call the store again as this was now 2 hours after I had placed the order. If i had of known the saga would take this long, I would have just driven to the store myself, or better yet not...
