Revesby Grind — Restaurant in Sydney

Came in to try the place that was so highly reviewed only to be very disappointed...

The staff are definitely polite and very friendly. But the biggest gripe I have has to do with the kitchen/ quality of food.

After waiting for a significant amount of time for what is a essentially 2 Big Breakfast. I've asked for it to be taken away.

I was then asked, "Are you sure? The food is ready. " After confirming the order to be packed for takeaway, it was followed by another 10 minutes of waiting and a bunch of noise coming from the microwave.

I get back home to find out that one of my egg yolks have run away and my hashbrowns on both orders have been deep fried by the the devil himself, not a single shred of potato left visible.

My apologies if I come across as rude, but I don't know how...

The coffee, YUK! The last time i had a taste like that in my mouth was after kissing a smoker!! The poached eggs were almost hard boiled. I suggest buying a few egg timers so you can get it right for your future customers. Do yourselves a favour and listen to your customers, if they ask for crispy bacon then give them CRISPY bacon. Love love love this place …but just one suggestion for your menu ,with the grind mushrooms on toast with pouched eggs….can you pleas slice the mushroom instead of just cutting the in quarters …when they are sliced the mushroom flavour in deeper seasoned with cracked salt...
