Oue first try at this funky little (very little) local cafe left us with mixed feelings. First impressions weren't great as despite having 7 staff behind the counter in a cafe that would be lucky to seat that many people, we weren't acknowledged as we walked in and sat at the only proper table in the place. After reading the menu and sitting there for another 5 minutes it became apparent that this wasn't going to be table service (I couldn't see that indicated anywhere) and we got up and ordered. Coffee is by Gabriel and was well made. The blend is a little light for our tastes but my flat white was silky smooth and well presented. For breakfast we tried the acai bowl and the avo smash. The acai bowl was beautifully presented and definitely one of the better ones I've had in the area. The serving was generous and plenty of time was put intonthe presentation. The avo smash on the other hand left us questioning who ate the other half. Super light on the avo and goats fetta for the price. The tiny piece of gluten free seed loaf was the only real winner in this dish as a surprisingly tasty alternative to the usual sour dough offerings of most cafes. All in all I'm not sure we'd go out of the way to come back here. I love the concept of the place but the delivery missed the mark.

Ritual was a perfect lunch spot today - I was lunching my sister (coeliac), my 80-something mum (traditional) and my son (coffee enthusiast). I’m GF and love my coffee. So we were a tricky bunch to please. Food was awesome. Good GF options including Nonies gf bread (it’s the best!). My son loved his bacon and egg roll, sis had chicken sandwich on GF, mum had paleo walnut bread and I had eggs and GF toast. Coffee was top notch. Service friendly and smooth. Thanks 🙏🏼

Amazing cold brew from a tiny little cafe that’s very popular with the locals. Only has one table and a window bar inside, then some outdoor seats on the footpath. Friendly staff who have great chats with their regulars. Small but good menu, the avocado bagel needed a bit of seasoning, but was still delicious and there was salt and pepper on the table.

Easily one of the most passionate baristas from the Dose Espresso team, opened up his own cafe, and the rest is history. This somewhat hidden gem is easily the best coffee in Northbridge, and one of the many awesome cafes that exist beyond the bridge.

But why is it awesome? In my opinion, Ritual has consistently provided the best form of Gabriel Coffee in Sydney. There is a real desire to make fantastic coffee which comes through in spades.

With single origin coffees always on hand, and the occasional guest roast, if you are driving by in need of coffee, this is where you should be stopping.

The coffee at ritual is simply divine they are super attentive to what your ordering. The staff are always very kind and friendly they always remember who you are and give you the best possible experience. They have a divine Chicken sandwich which is in beautiful sourdough bread and is always made with fresh ingredients so it is never off. They have incredible customer service and start at 6am so you can get a coffee on your way to work. The barista Nathan is always up for a chat and they make your coffee extremely quickly and to a high standard. Best coffee shop...
