I just got home from picking up an order - I specifically enquired about the 2 large pizza deal for $24 as advertised on their website and then ordered said pizzas. During the exchange I explicitly said "no drinks, just the pizzas" in response to being offered sides. On collection I end up paying $35 bucks and receive the pizzas plus garlic bread. They can see my surprised expression and re-calculate the price, to which I reciprocate that the garlic bread was unexpected but I bite the bullet and just take the food. I check the receipt at home and realise that I was also entitled to a 1.25L drink because the order was over $30.

So not only did I pay more than anticipated for an incorrect order, they let me walk out of the store without a complete order (that I never specifically ordered in the first place). This is entirely due to an obvious language barrier from the lady who I spoke to over the phone.

The frustration is so strong I'm not even willing to go back and get the drink. Steer clear...

Pizzas are great and always deliver faster than quoted. Garlic bread could be better. However the owner's attitude is unpleasant. After ordering almost exclusively from Robertas for 2 years, we were rudley told by manager that they would not honor any discounts for our orders going forward. Paid surcharge for a Coke and got delivered a Pepsi instead, surcharge not refunded. Given we spend at least $500 a year with this store, it's not the type of attitude you'd expect for being a loyal customer. Reviews on menulog indicate not honoring discounts is a common thing with the owner. Simple solution would be to stop offering discounts instead of driving away...
