Sahara Grill — Restaurant in Sydney

This is not the first time I have ordered from Sahara Grill and the food has always been average, but I was extremely disappointed with what I received today.

My order was for a beef, cheese and spinach gozleme cut into slightly smaller slices and a small serve of chips which I placed with a young girl.

Before I knew what was happening, she began cutting into a gozleme. When I asked what she was doing and why she wasn't toasting it, she replied she didn't need to because it was just cooked. Never in all my gozleme eating years have I ever not had mine toasted. She could have at least offered me the option of having it toasted or not, after advising it was freshly cooked, but nope! She only offered me the option of touching it to confirm that it was already hot. Of course I wasn't going to do that.

Seeing that she was in a bit of a dilemma with me, another lady came to help her out and sent the girl off to make my chips. She offered to make me another one or take it out of the box to toast, but I refused. I thought I would just toast it when I got home. If it had been toasted and served properly, we would have eaten straight away in the food court.

When I arrived home, a couple of things I noticed were: the size and quality of the gozleme had deteriorated substantially compared to previous orders within the last 3 months it was completely drenched in oil as if the bread had been fried there was a very thin film of spinach and unnoticeable cheese which seemed more like Tasty cheese instead of feta I was given a chicken gozleme instead of a beef one which was what I ordered I received half a small sized chips and the slightly smaller slices of gozleme ended up being 2cm - 3cm squares

I know this is definitely something I will not be...

Worst experience of my life. I explained to the guy at the counter about allergies to sesame seeds and he said everything is fine. I asked about their garlic sauce too he said it's just garlic. After my son started eating his kebab, he started showing signs of a reaction and my husband asked to special with a manger and informed him of what happened. They actually but humus in their garlic sauce. We had to call and ambulance it was a horrible experience and do not wish this on anyone. In future please allow all staff to be aware of all...

Sahara Grill at rouse hill, is a beautiful haven of culinary delight. The service is authentic and caring. They fulfill my every wish - the amount of sauce - the amount of tabouli - it’s all on point.

This takeaway hole on the wall, draws me in every Thursday without fail. Because of their kebabs I am a better employee, better husband, a better human being.
