Salty Rooster — Restaurant in Sydney

Food was good. Service was absolutely disgusting!! We ordered on the self service machine and the receipt came out blank. We lined up and asked the young girl if she could find our number so we could wait. The manager lady (assumed to be) completely ignored the young girl as she was asking. The young girl was unsure what to do and we completely understood as the other lady was not helping her. I then asked the lady if she could find my number and she seemed very angry. Not a pleasant experience. She then went to the machine, my friend and I were having a conversation while waiting the lady then said stop laughing it’s not funny. We were never laughing at her and we’re just having a normal conversation. I find this very rude speaking to customers like that. I then nudged my friend to say something completely unrelated to what happened and she then rudely yells out it’s coming I’m getting it sorted. To top it off she slaps the food on the counter to say it’s ready. Honestly embarrassing and humiliating. I feel so utterly sorry for the young kids working....

I haven't been to salty rooster in a number of years, and was in the area today so decided to give it a go. Great service and my order came out fairly quickly. You can't go past the located too - across the road from Queenscliff Beach. I settled on the BEO roll - bacon eggs onion and hollandaise sauce. The onion was a bit under cooked - would be better with either raw onion or really barbequed. The hollandaise didn't really work with the bacon and onion (obviously if it was just egg it would work). The roll also cost $10.76 (with surcharge) which is a bit steep. The bun was fresh and delicious. I think I'll be back to try the chicken burgers for lunch or...

I made an online order and waited 30 minutes to then be told my order never came through I then asked for a refund and was told the money would come back into my account the next day. The money never came back into my account I called up and was told I would have to come in store for a refund and I told them Im only visiting for the weekend and wouldn't be able to. I was then told to leave my number and that they would call me back to sort it out. I waited a week and decided to message them on Facebook to try to sort it out but no response. it's now been over 3 weeks and...
