We came to Sydney on holiday, and after not being able to find our original location, we stopped at this quaint little cafe on a limb.... and we are SO glad we did!
The location is perfect! There was a nice elderly lady next to us who was sitting in the shade, with an iced coffee, reading a book! Where else do you get this in the busy districts!?!?!
We were presented a spectacularly sized A3 menu with plenty of choice, and after a small miscommunication (language barrier) with the gentleman taking our order, we very quickly dined down on the tastiest food we have had in Sydney yet!
My partner ordered the veggie sandwich, and I ordered the chicken burger and we shared a chocolate milkshake....
The milkshake came out first, and it was incredible! It was so strong and smooth at the same time! Then came the food in RECORD time! We have never been served food faster anywhere! My partners comment on the veggie sandwich was "This is so good! Is it weird I don't want this sandwich to end?!?! Someone knows how to roast veggies!" I had the chicken burger, but replaced the caramelized onion with avocado and can tell you, that was one of the BEST chicken burgers I have ever had the pleasure of dining on!
My only question is: Do they deliver to Canberra?!??!
This will be our go to spot for lunch when we return!!!!!! Thank...

I saw all this nice reviews ( probably fake ones) and wanted to try it as it's just next door....but will never go back there again!
To start I asked for Israeli dish with tomato sauce and eggs they brought me omelette with salade...when i explained I asked for the tomaro sauce one with eggs they brought me sone little sauce in a side ( which tasted good)and they charged me for it...
The coffee was tasting awful! Bitter!
The bread coming with unwanted omelette was cold wet and uneatable! When I told him about the bread instead of offering to toast it or change it he said I don't know that bread it's like that it's Turkish bread! And that he works there since 5 years ..he did not know that I grew up in turkey and that s not Turkish bread ! The way it was presented cold and wet was more like cheap leebaneese bread ....so the staff attitude was not efficient nor effective at all ! He made the experience horrible ... And the last drop is even that we paid cash they charged us for card surcharge....NO COMMENT!
Check the answer for the comment....what a great...
Read moreWe visited Savta last week, we had just arrived from Brisbane and found this cafe on Google as recommended. My husband who is Gluten intolerant ordered Gluten Free toast, asked for an extra piece of toast, a fried egg and roasted tomato. Upon checking the receipt, we had been charged for Your Own Breakfast at $11.00, plus $1 for gluten free bread and $2 for an extra slice! The waitress had suggested that he build his own due to his intolerance - and also charged me twice for Haloumi. When I queried the charges, I was told this is how the menu is priced, which is totally different to what the menu says - so $14 for 3 pieces of toast and 1 egg! I was refunded the charge for the extra Haloumi but no offer for the difference in menu price for the toast. Not a great experience for a cafe that has had high...
