Food and service is absolutely divine as always! Seahorse has always been a childhood favourite of mine, and still never fails to deliver after all these years. Dinner with my family last night was such a treat!

We started off with half a dozen oysters, which were absolutely creamy and fresh. Calamari and beef carpaccio are seasoned to perfection. You won't find better homemade bread anywhere else, the garlic bread is a must have for every visit! Our first time trying grilled scampi was pure buttery sweet bliss.

Onto the mains: Spaghetti aglio olio is a personal favourite Italian dish of mine, and it couldn't have been done better! The pine nuts are such a unique and lovely addition to the texture, and the prawns are perfectly cooked. Then we have the fettuccini marinara, with the most beautiful tomato sauce and a generous helping of seafood, this dish is a family favourite! The risotto is always the highlight of my night, with the creamiest, tastiest sauce and perfect texture of the rice. This is a dish you truly could not taste anywhere else, I highly recommend ordering it!

And of course, we can't forget the lovely desserts! There is no way we would ever pass up the opportunity for the world's most divine sticky date pudding. It comes piping hot, with the most fragrant brown butter sauce, and the icecream to go with it just ties it all together. This is one dessert you do not want to miss out on! We love the smooth, creamy ice cream so much, we also ordered another helping of gelato as a treat!

Thank you Pasquale and Karen for taking good care of my family and myself as always!

I had a horrible dining experience at Seahorse Restaurant last night, would not recommend. Firstly, our server seemed visibly annoyed when we changed our minds and ordered appetisers, and had to put our share plates back on our table. We then had to wait an hour for two plates of pasta, and when we inquired about where our food was, this same server very condescendingly responded about how ordering a SINGLE appetiser pushed our meal back, to such an extent where even the table next to us arrived later than us, received their meal and left by the time we got our food. Then to make the whole ordeal worse, when we finally got our food, in the spaghetti meatballs that we ordered there was not A SINGLE MEATBALL IN SIGHT (a picture has been attached). You’d think after it took an hour to make our food, it would at least be served correctly. When we first walked into the restaurant, we really wanted to get the dessert afterwards, but could simply not bring ourselves to do so after the way we had been treated by the staff. It was all incredibly disappointing, will not...

From the moment we arrived for lunch I could tell that service was going to be extremely slow. It took over half an hour just to get a glass a water. The waitress still had not taken our orders. There were only two meals marked market price yet the waitress had no idea of the price. (another 10 minutes before she found this out) The drinks waitress had no idea about wines or what their selection was. Finally after a fairly long wait our entree's arrived, very skimpy to say the least and the oysters served up on a cake doyle ????? and no appropriate cutlery. Mains were very drab with only boiled vegies on the side something I could have done better at home and presentation unappealing. Ordered the lobster and were told that they were medium size, turns out they were the smallest I'd ever seen in total three small mouthful. Riosotto was very sloppy.....need I say more. Our group was so dissapointed we didn't even contemplate dessert. After spending a motza this is not a place I...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Seahorse, an Italian restaurant located conveniently close to my place (just 400 meters away). From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the exceptional staff who made my dining experience truly memorable. The chef, who also happens to be the owner, put his heart into the pasta dishes, and they were absolutely delicious! While the fries were just average, everything else more than made up for it. We chose to sit outside, but I noticed they also offer a cozy indoor seating option. One thing that stood out was the attentive service - they even brought water to our table before we had a chance to ask, a small gesture that made me feel welcome and cared for. If you find yourself in the Randwick area, Seahorse is definitely worth a visit for a delightful Italian dining experience!
