Was a last minute booking which was accommodated, I thought that was terrific customer service but unfortunately that's where the customer service ended. We asked for a seperate chair as the one that was provided to our 4 year-old was unstable and at risk of breaking beneath him. I was informed there were no other chairs, until I found another and also noted the spare stools behind the bar. We did ask for califlower to be served either raw or boiled. They served the cauliflower plain and fried. When we articulated the incorrect order we were told we had ordered incorrectly. Both my partner and I are certain we asked for plain raw or boiled cauliflower. Fortunately we weren't charged this. Of note, there is no kids menu or kid friendly options. Unfortunately the food takes too long to come out. Each item comes out separately. Almost like each item is a seperate course. This doesn't work with this type of middle eastern, particularly when we ordered dishes to compliment the main. We had ordered the side of pickles only to find that pickles are served with the lamb shoulder. Although I note that the menu did mention pickles and roasted peppers, I feel the waiter should definitely have advised us against ordering pickles. Some of the food was delicious but there was too much emphasis on the yoghurt in the cauliflower and the fatoush salad. I noted the group next door shared a similar experience when they struggled to find the chicken under all the dip. We also noticed the same group had to send back an incorrect order. Unfortunately the multidue and frequency of small errors made for a horrible dinning experience. I wouldn't recommend nor would I...

To be truthful this should be a one star. The waitress who was painfully overworked was delightful and attentive to diatery restrictions, hence the two stars.

The restaurant has seating for maybe 60-70 people with most inside. Unfortunately, there was only two waitresses for the entire restaurant. Regardless of how hard they were working it was simply too difficult to keep up with the demand of servicing that many customers.

The restaurant is very cute inside, beautiful brick walls and minimalist decorations. However, it was so noisy from the music, open kitchen and customers it was difficult to hear the people sitting next to you. Although I was comfortable some people had complained that it was very hot inside.

This is a tapas type of restaurant so be prepared to order 4 things for a party of two or you will be hungry when you leave. As such don't be fooled by the prices, this gets very expensive fast.

The fattoush salad was swimming in dressing to the point the bottom half of the salad was almost soupy. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The octopus, apparently a signature dish was so salty after one bite, that was more than enough. The cauliflower apparently has sugar in the marinade so I did not taste the vegetable.

Sadly about 1/4 of what was ordered was not eaten.

The Turkish coffee is not prepared like traditional Turkish coffee. Rather it is ran through an espresso pod hence tasted like a watered down espresso with...

Sefa Kitchen was amazing from start to finish. The restaurant is located on Bondi Road in Bondi. The lighting inside the restaurant is cosy and intimate. The food was delicious the best meal i have had in a very long time. Every dish was full of flavour, well presented and priced appropriately. The wine was tasty and the service was exceptional. I was greeted instantly and shown to my table. The waiter brought water and took our drinks then allowed us an adequate time to decide our meal. They recommended dishes for us and checked that we were happy and satisfied throughout the visit. The premises is extremely well maintained, toilets were clean and fresh. Soap smelt lovely. They have fairy lights in the back garden which is calm and relaxing. They have a light music on in the background whilst you dine which sets the mood. The manager Sara was so lovely. She was so kind and accommodating. Being a Bondi local i am always looking for good restaurants and to be honest there are not very many in Bondi but this restaurant was exceptional. I could not fault a single thing. Excellent value for money. We dined on Friday and we went back again on Saturday because we love it so much! We will definitely be regulars here. 100% recommend it!! Great for vegetarians aswell incase you have any family members or friends who don't eat meat. By far the best restaurant in Bondi and believe me i am a foodie so i wouldn't say that unless i was certain! WELL...

Funny how a place with great food can get 4*, and one with 4* food can get 5!? I guess it's the restaurant equivalent of us choosing partners that may not be the "best" we've ever dated, but are the best for us (we hope, but let's not go there). The food here relies on the fryer a little much for my taste. Though that may be as much about what we ordered. The meals were tasty and had a good base of authenticity. The service was good too. But, am I being racist to want a level of hospitality beyond cafe global culture when in a geographically specific place? I don't expect to smell camel, and see more bowing than the Japanese parliament, but this was a very global scene. Still, its a good place to have nearby, and we will return...insallah.

Most of the food is really good (with the exception of the salmon). The portions are small. The prices are very expensive for what you get (even for Bondi). Most of the dishes are between $18-28 (the lamb is $44). It's recommend that each person gets 2.5-3 dishes. If you're hungry you could easily eat 3-5. Service is decent, delayed at times, but friendly. Nice atmosphere inside and it does fill up, so make a reservation. Although I really enjoyed most of the food, because of the prices and small portions I don't think I'll be back. This place should easily be $$$ rated (instead of $$).

Gorgeous warm, intimate restaurant and bar offering delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. As a party of four we ordered the $45.00 banquet. All dishes were just delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone’s favourite was the octopus which was so tender. I really loved the beetroot dish as well. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to return when in Bondi again next year for City2Surf.
