Subway — Restaurant in Sydney

Since their recent renovation (writing this Dec 2018) they no longer do $5 sub of the day which is quite disappointing. They seem to have all their salads in stock (and I come in regularly), however, they always say that a number of their salads are out of stock on Menulog. Renovation wasn't anything special, but their new version of honey oat (the malt rye), is smaller and not as nice. The men that work here are awesome. As a regular customer, even 2 of them remember my order down to salad components, sauce, cookie and drink. Sad to say the 2 Asian females are useless! Very poor customer service, rude, I almost feel like I am always interrupting their social conversations when ordering, very slow to work, and their problem solving skills are non existent (e.g. when I am ordering a cheese toastie for my 1 year old son and they refuse to put tomato on it, even though I could have ordered extra on my sandwich for free to give him, they can't make that connection and want to charge the toastie as a full sandwich). Their fridge is always out of stock for a number of items, however at least the place is clean. The only Subway within walking distance for us, but at least it's a healthy option among...

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I went today (9pm on a Monday). The man was so impatient even though we were the only customers there. He didn't ask what bread I wanted - I requested the herb and garlic but he took out the white bread. Then, he didn't ask for what cheese, and just gave us the shredded cheese. The sign said it was 'triple cheese' for my type of sub, but he only gave one. He was just so impatient throughout, and asked no questions thag normal subways did. He then just hastily wrapped the subs, all the filling spiling everywhere, and didn't ask if we wanted salt or pepper even though the shakers were right there.

My salad was only half the size it should have been and there was way more onion than lettuce and spinach leaves and the cheese was missing too. I ordered a herb garlic and cheese toastie and it only had a small amount of herb and garlic sauce and no cheese!!!!! Very poor food prep for the price I just paid I could have bought more from Woolworths for less!!! I can’t even post picture with this review to show you the pathetic effort that was made. Would have been better eating dry toast. Won’t be ordering from Remington subway again this was the last chance from me to make things better! Step up and get out!! Pathetic food...
