Sushi Roll — Restaurant in Sydney

We have eaten here many times. It’s a decent Japanese restaurant to eat in Top Ryde. The food is delicious and the price is a bit on the top end of reasonable.

The staff is quite friendly once they start serving you but they could have been better trained or more attentive, hence the four stars only.

We came in a group of 8 at around 6pm and was told we had to wait 20 minutes. There was a table for 6 plus two available tables on both sides. They scouts have joined one table for us but they didn’t. There was also two four-seaters tables outside and they didn’t say anything about it until we asked about sitting outside.

Then dishes were good to a standard you would expect so nothing amazing or spectacular but you won’t go home disappointed.

Some recommended dishes: Spicy pork don Chicken katsu curry Teriyaki chicken don Tempura prawns and veggie Tempura Udon Edamame bean, especially the spicy edamame...

I visited there when I travel Sydney last week due to my friend’s recommendation. But, I saw a cockroach under the table. The restaurant was really dirty. In addition, the staffs in this restaurant were not that professional. A waitress could not answer my inquiry about the food and the waiter’s who was looked like manager attitude was not that professional. When I talked with him, he was not kind at all. I tried to call him to ask something but he was staying at the cashier all the time doing nothing. But the food is fine.

Dear owner, I think the staffs in the restaurant need proper training. And the the attitude of waiter who looks like manager needs to be changed. Hope you can manage all problems in the restaurant. And please do not forget...
