Thai Bay — Restaurant in Sydney

Restaurant near empty (3 couples) ordered quickly, yet my partners food comes out and 15-20 mins later still no sign of my food (yet other tables all served). It doesn’t click for the waiter when I asked how much longer, he goes to check and finds out they never cooked it. Cancelled the order as they hadn’t started making it, I mentioned it would have been nice to have known that 15 mins ago as now my partners food is cold. He said yea sorry, shrugged his shoulders and walked off.. Spoke with another lady when paying and again the indifference of a customer relaying a poor experience was astounding. Totally dismissed and didn’t care, just wanted the money to be paid. I don’t get the rave reviews when the food (from the 2 dishes that were actually cooked) were soggy and not a Thai curry at all. Customer service is non-existent. There is way better thai food in the shire...

appalling. waited 1:45 minutes for food. arrived cold, soggy and inedible. granted this was another stellar performance from menulog but zero communication from the restaurant. if a dish sits on your bench in a package for more than 30 minutes-it should go in the bin and the customer should be informed or refunded.

however i’m sure you will take zero responsibility for this order and heap the blame on menulog but keep in mind my experience was with your restaurant and that’s where the responsibility...

Most amazing Thai food.... My new favourite go to restaurant. I first discovered Thai Bay via uber eats and was blown away..... It was so absolutely delicious that I decided to go and check out the restaurant. Very impressed.
