That Place Next Door - TPND — Restaurant in Sydney

TPND is my favorite cafe! I love having this cafe so close to my apartment so I can go everyday. Everything I've ordered from breakfast and brunch to cocktails and coffee has been absolutely delicious. The variety of food offered is extensive and wonderfully presented. The owners and staff are very friendly and attentive. The espresso martini from the Bottomless brunch is one of the best I've ever had, if not THE best. The pancakes are heavenly and I have a dirty chai latte multiple times a week! The pastries are so good. You must try the biscoft cinnamon scroll! Will does fun foam art on the hot drinks and always has a smile for his repeat customers. Sameer is kind and thoughtful, always remembering what I like to order. I have been coming here for the past 2 years. I recently purchased a takeaway cup of coffee, and whilst sipping on my coffee, I found a cockaroach inside my cup. I am not one to write bad reviews, however it was disgusting, and appalling. I proceeded to show the cup of coffee with the cockaroach to the owner, Sameer, who was apologetic but offered me nothing but excuses to back this up. Unbelievably good. High quality food. Clearly sourced with care. Prepared perfectly. Gluten free and vegan literate kitchen and staff. 5 star service. Park view.
