The food wasn't horrible but it took a really long time to arrive. It was my second time eating at this restaurant and I was disappointed.

I would've given this restaurant 5 stars the first time as the food came out pretty quickly and it was delicious (there were 3 of us dining).

But this time, I came with family friends and there were 6 of us. It took 50 minutes for the first dish to arrive, and then there were unnecessarily long intervals between the other dishes; we finished each dish before another arrived.

This kept happening until eventually our last dish arrived 40 minutes after the first. And our last dish was a fried rice. That takes literally 5 minutes to cook.

Not only that but I could see another table, who arrived 20 minutes after us, received all their dishes much quicker than ours. And it's not like ours took longer to make.

Maybe they were understaffed or there were more customers that particular day, but I was quite disappointed by...

There are so many things going against this place. Location. The fact that they haven't touched the fitout since taking over. The menus are confusing and there are too many of them. But damn the food is good. Best Chinese food in the upper north shore hands down. The real test? Look at the profile of who is eating there. I arrived to an empty restaurant at 5pm, only to see it brimming with local Chinese residents less than an hour later. They know where to get the good stuff. Go here and eat well. P.S. Forgot 4 of our dishes, were out of stock of many things, cocktail bar was shut, and we were lied to about how many items were included in the yum cha dishes and service was incredibly slow. We were a large table and we saw many many tables come, be served and even leave before we even received our first dish. Service was so painfully slow that we were there for over 2 hours and had only received entrees.
