With Everyone’s concern cost of living pressure, I risked not paying electricity bill by the end of month, to get a quick brekkie here for $18.50: medium flatty $5.50 plus B&E roll with BBQ sauce. Flat white is great thought not grinding top specialty beans. It has all the right skills, excellent temperature, silky smooth milk texture, latte art, good aroma, well balanced extraction, really not bad! As for the B&E roll, the BBQ sauces are Not enough. I’m not asking for flooding flow, just a few more pull Please. I don’t know the right approach to B&E rolls, it’s not as small as Maccas BIG mac, I can’t hold it to Eat, I eat the top and then the bottom. The bread is toasted, crispy bacon, decent portion and egg is alright. As Manu Feildel said, where is the sauces? to make a good dish, Sauces Sauces, Sauces! The top part has BBQ sauce, but the bacon and bottom part it has nothing very dry, that lose a lot of scores. Ok, we all have expectations, for $18.50 brekkie, it can be better! But I still enjoyed it today. Thank...
Read moreHad a brunch date with my mum where we wanted to stay local with easy parking. We decided to give the coffee emporium at west Ryde a try. The environment was so nice open and not overcrowded, we got a seat and checked the menu which was very very decently priced compared to other cafes. We ordered two cappuccinos and big breakfast plates for mum and I.
We ordered at the front as the line was going very fast so we didn’t have to wait, the staff were very lovely and greeted us asking how our day is going which was nice. It didn’t even take 10 minutes and we received our order though majority of the seats were taken we were really surprised how fast the food and coffees came out.
The massive serving of the big breakfast plates were more than expected for the price we were so pleased the value for money and customer service. Coffees were absolutely on point and perfect heat we both are making this our new cafe to go! Atmosphere, customer service and food quality is...
Read moreI dropped in at 4pm to pick up something for some afternoon tea.
$16 for a bacon, egg and lettuce wrap.
That’s sixteen dollars.
I could buy two full-sized grilled chicken and avocado on Turkish up at Soul Origin for that kind of money.
Oh well. Lesson learned, I guess. You got my money.
As they say: fool me once, friends. Fool me once.
Edit: And I believe you are mistaking me for another customer. I have a bank statement recording the EFT from The Coffee Emporium West Ryde for the amount of $16, plus a few cents extra. It is the only transaction on my account that is connected with your company. I would suggest you take this on the chin and simply apologise for a poor experience, and endeavour to do better. The alternative is that I can add a screenshot of my bank statement to this review, and we can all speculate on the thinking behind your assumption that I was mistaken. That would be pretty undignified now,...
