👩‍🍳 Food - 7/10 🌻 Vibes - 10/10 💵 Cost - 8/10 🌟 Service - 10/10

• • •

We indulged in the High Tea offer which costed $45 per person (where there's a minimum group of 2 required). Here's what was included and my opinion of it:

▪︎Drinks: A pot of your choice of tea or coffee for you to share.

🫖 We selected English Breakfast and Peppermint Tea and it was both very fragrant, paired nicely with the food and helped refresh you palate. Additionally, the staff was extremely kind and allowed us refills of the tea (free of charge!) which was super generous of them.

▪︎Savoury Food: Smoked salmon canapé, egg sandwich and a mini style burger

🍔 The savouries were the best. I thoroughly enjoyed the egg sandwich and the mini style burger - which was extremely filling despite the size. The smoked salmon canapé was great however the wafer/cracker soaked up all the juices from the fresh avocado slices so it ended up as a soggy wafer/cracker - it was still scrumptious though!

▪︎Sweet Food: Scones with jam and fresh cream, carrot cake, macaron and cheesecake (selection of 2 flavours of your choice

🍰 I'm a big fan of sweets so this is where the points were lost. The carrot cake was the best out of the four. It had a great balance of flavour and wasn't too sweet. The macaron was okay, nothing really notable.

The red velvet cheesecake (lemon fromage with red velvet sponge) and strawberry cheesecake (strawberry and mascarpone mousse on New York cheesecake) wasn't exactly to my liking. I know these cakes are from "The Smelly Cheesecake" however the cake slices we received didn't taste very "fresh" - it tasted very dry. The red velvet spong was crumbly; the mascarpone mousse was grainy and not smooth. The scones were equally disappointing and was very dense, almost rock hard and had the texture of a biscuit.

▪️▫️SUMMARY▫️▪️

The pricing for High Tea is one of the cheapest out there. The customer service was splendid - the staff was extremely accommodating e.g. giving us free tea refills, and they also asked us if we wanted the air-con turned on. The cafe vibes were super cute and aesthetic as well!

Food wise, the savouries were best - I think the reason behind this is probably because these were made in-house, whereas the sweets were all from their partner "The Smelly Cheesecake", but I might be wrong.

Regardless, the High Tea was an experience worthy of trying, so if you're interested in a fancy brunch/lunch in West Ryde, do check this cafe out! If you're on a budget, I'll recommend trying out the cafe food...

Without a doubt one of the best little cafes in Sydney. Attended today (Wednesday) for lunch with my wife. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely lady staff member who was friendly and polite. Food and coffee was ordered which both arrived to the table fairly promptly! Coffee was absolutely fantastic. Brewed and presented perfectly. One of the best almond mochas we’ve had in a very long time! Food ordered was a vegetarian burger which came with a side of fries and chicken wrap which also came with a side of fries. Talk about fresh and tasty. Honestly one of the best vegetarian burgers I’ve eaten in a very long time and my wife truly enjoyed her chicken wrap. The fries were also yummy as.

The best of the best food and coffee which was so reasonably priced as well. So worth the value for what was offered!!

The staff working today, if they were owners or just staff I’m not sure, but either way were so lovely, friendly and were so professional!

You can tell that this cafe and its owners and staff take pride in what they do and this is the reason it is so highly rated! 5/5 in every aspect

Definitely highly recommend and definitely will...

Wow wow wow!!!! I have walked past this cafe a few times but decided to have a brunch and a coffee today. Walked in and was welcomed by the staff with authentic smiles… I ordered a coffee (cappuccino to be exact) and egg Benedict. While waiting I decided to take a tour of the place.. wow! It’s a true hidden gem! It’s very deceptive from the front but when you go in, the atmosphere is so inviting, soft music playing and it has this contemporary/modern look with booths, little garden kinda-feel.. I really can’t explain the vibe or the look of this place as it has layers (in a good and exciting way). You have to visit to see it.

The food I ordered was super delicious and the coffee… wool it was really really good (am a coffee addict - and I know a good coffee when I have one).

Also, the owners Nisha and Kundan are so so nice. They give you a personalised service, they make you feel like someone they have known for a long time.

Anyway.., it was a very good experience on my off day. And I will be...

Honestly what a terrible experience to order slices of cheesecake in store. The cheesecakes aren’t even made here. We ordered 2 pieces of cake to have dining jn and they were served to us still in the plastic box sitting on a plate. We thought okay whatever. The boxes still even had 3-4 pieces of tape on them that the workers didn’t bother removing before they dumped it on a plate. We were the only customers in this cafe. I’m no longer supporting this cafe. Fix your service. BTW the cake slices were $9 each. Bruh. Don’t trust a business that has tons of fake Google reviews to bring their ratings up.
