Updated: thanks for your awful reply, it shows the calibre of your complete lack of respect for your customers. Basically, the exact same reception I got when I called you. 'Atmosphere' was more to do with your behaviour on the phone, but it's ok, you can't take accountability elsewhere, so i didn't expect it there. Customer service is 100% non existent, your rude attitude stinks and given someone else liked the review I made in the first HOUR of me making it, pretty sure I'm not the only one. Instead of taking it on board and saying all good we will consider the feedback, thank you, you just want to argue further... No problem. I'll just update my review now, and add more photos then. Your idea of what you gave for "free" on a $110 order is laughable.... Here are the sauces you included - three teaspoons of sauce for the several meals ordered, one TSP each of glaze, tomato sauce, and aioli...Thank you for that deeply kindest generosity of your heart, lol. Mind you, the other two yellow sauces on the right, split and nasty / unappetising-looking actually came with the salads I ordered so, not exactly "free". You legit provided three teaspoons of sauce for 'free' on a breakfast that looked like it was just thrown in the box with little love, for $28.00. Actually, I would indeed pay more for a breakfast that looked half like it would be actually nice to eat... All good though, you won't have to worry because I will NEVER come back here again. Your attitude is completely disgusting, shame your team have you at the helm running things, because you're killing your own business.. All the best with that 👍🏼
Been coming here for five years at least and tbh the quality and portions have really gone downhill, esp in the last 12 or so months. Apparently - this is a breakfast worth close to $30.00 with 2 tiny hash browns also included on top - 22 big breakfast, 6.00 for the hash browns. Could have made two full English breakfasts for likely less money. No balance in the meal, just heaps of bacon and basically not a lot else. I used to order from here literally once or twice a week. Now, it's two or three times a year and tbh, the last three times have been bloody awful. Really sad. Called the owner to speak to them and tbh her attitude was so disgusting and rude on the phone, now i definitely i won't come back. If you're having issues with the percentage you pay to delivery people, either hire your own or build it into your pricing, thats not my fault or issue as a customer - didn't appreciate that being your only response that you "make no money" on it - well if so, you're pricing it wrong, your profit margin with Uber or Door Dash wasn't really what i called about, what i called about was a breakfast that annoyed me so much, I'm tempted to just throw it out. Expensive for the lack of value in it these days, even the included sauces for your meal or salads are tiny. Coffee always been average but I held in cause the food used to be so much better. What a waste. All the best retaining customers with that awful attitude and pretty hit and miss...
Read moreYou can learn a lot about a restaurant when they are busy. I stopped for brunch at 10:30 on a Sunday morning after seeing the high reviews of this venue. Restaurant was about half full, plenty of seating available. Waiting staff seemed to be frazzled. It took more than 5 minutes and multiple attempts of flagging the staff down before I was able to get a menu. Coffee came pretty fast, it was hot and a decent coffee... The food however, well more the service of the food was a huge let down. It took more than 30 min for more that my order of avocado smash on toast to be delivered, this was after having to flag down the staff and request that they find my order. While I’d normally attribute this to a place being busy, it wasn’t. Seems the staff were letting the team down as I saw a meal sitting on the pass for over 5 minutes before it was picked up and delivered. I imagine this person got their meal cold. The people seated beside me were a little more patient. They ordered the same time as me, their meals were delivered just as I was finishing mine and I notice that there was a lag of 5 minutes between each guest getting their plate. The food was tasty but the wait leaves a bad taste. They may be better on weekdays but for a Sydney cafe I’d expect the staff to be more on the ball. One reason for this seems that the staff were prioritising food for delivery? Lots of food in boxes being served, little actual plates. Balance needs...
Read moreMy daughter loves the Dutch pancakes here so asks to visit regularly but I've had too many disappointing experiences now that I'll never visit this cafe again. Firstly, the smashed avo is covered with dill which is not mentioned on the menu and, as I'm not a big fan of dill, it really spoils the dish. If it had been stated on the menu I would have ordered something else. Secondly, I have visited with my daughter and been ignored for a good 5-10 minutes (the cafe had only 1 other visitor at the time so wasn't too busy) before walking out and finding somewhere more welcoming. On our latest visit the waitress/kitchen staff stuffed up the orders of some of our party but the worst part was being served cows milk in my coffee when I clarified three times that I wanted soy milk, even checking as the waitress put it in front of me that it was soy. I am lactose intolerant and have been suffering with pain, vomiting and diarrhoea since. This was the last straw and I will not be visiting again (despite my daughter's pleas for...
