The best café I’ve ever been to. Unique setting surrounded by greenery, heritage reuse architecture, and no cars. Calm, respectful and welcoming hospitality. Delicious, fresh and generous dishes—notably the mushrooms on toast, chilli scrambled eggs and Bircher. A-grade espresso and batch brews. Fairly priced. A family-friendly hub for the neighbourhood to connect and enjoy life. And bonus bird life—we’re talking wrens, lorikeets and cockatoos here.

10/10 customer service and such generous portions! In the photo, my partner ordered a big breakfast and I ordered a hash brown on the side as I wasn’t too hungry, but they split his big breakfast to TWO PLATES so I could have some 🤣🥹 safe to say I ended up getting hungry 🤣the portobello mushroom was really good too!!

Really lovely cafe with friendly staff / owners, good coffee and a range of food options. The atmosphere is cosy and visiting the cafe feels like a big warm hug. The food prices are very reasonable and a good variety to bring you back frequently. I highly recommend the acai bowl, grilled fish and masala chai.

Don't bother with this place. One of those cafes where the only difference between a cappuccino & flat white is the chocolate powder.

Huge shame when a cafe is let down by the barista as the chef makes great food.

In response to your comment: no I didn't enjoy the chocolate fix as I don't recall ordering a hot chocolate with my coffee.

I must admit that I regularly frequented this cafe and always found the barista's angsty looks towards me rather off-putting, particularly when I didn't engage in small talk with him or the rest of his team. My mornings are often spent responding to urgent emails on my phone and I prefer a quiet start to the day, which doesn't leave much time for idle chit-chat. As a paying customer, I didn't think it was my responsibility to entertain the staff, and I preferred to wait to the side to avoid any unnecessary noise or commotion. In response to being told to keep my dog off the table, I want to make it clear that I wholeheartedly agree with this rule and would never "put" my dog on a table like some sort of barbarian. While I was seated, my furry friend managed to climb up onto the table while I was preoccupied with my phone, but I immediately removed him as soon as this happened. His paws would have touched the table for a few seconds.

I promptly apologised, but was then subjected to a rather embarrassing public announcement from the barista, reminding me not to put my dog on the table in the future. To add insult to injury, he then proceeded to lecture me on the hygiene risks associated with having a dog on a table, despite the fact that I had already sincerely apologised, acknowledged that this wouldn't happen again and rectified the situation. Despite my efforts to immediately apologise and correct the situation, he seemed intent on making a spectacle out of the whole affair. There goes the quiet start to my morning. Overall, the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth (in all aspects) and I would recommend better customer service etiquette in the future.

I came here every couple of mornings as my usual coffee stop despite the coffee's being below mid, it's the closest cafe to my office. They've lost a regular customer & I would never recommend this...

Poor customer service from the waiter.

My partner and I made an order of eggs on toast directly after another customer. That customer received her meal, and three other people got their meals after ours, despite these customers ordering after us.

I asked the waiter why the long wait, and it turns out that he forgot to tell the chef about the order.

We waited 40min for scrambled eggs on toast at the quietest time.

The manager apologised but the waiter didn’t admit his mistake or apologise. If they gave us a discount for the inconvenience, we would’ve...

Came across this cafe, serendipitously, whilst hunting for food as the previous cafe was strictly coffee. The owner recognised us from her previous cafe in Croydon.

The menu was also very reminiscent of the previous cafe. Both the food and service were great. Will be back to checkout the rest of their menu and weekend specials.

Didn’t have any coffee this visit, as I was already fully caffeinated, they use beans from Five Senses Coffee which was a definite fave...
