The last course is a newly opened dessert bar in Enmore opposite the Enmore theatre. The chef Sue, formerly of Suez kitchen in Windsor is passionate about the dessert coming out of the kitchen. Quality is key and there are no corners cut. The Last Course is colourful establishment with a risque mural painted on the wall, r&b music to provide ambiance and a range of desserts to suit everyone. The last course is a licensed venue with a range of cocktails and wine to enjoy with you choice of dessert. There is also coffee, hot chocolate and tea. A super tasty option was the blueberry cake with a sour cream crumble adding texture and a vanilla anglaise further enhanced this dessert. The banoffee pie is another dessert that was very popular and did not last long. The knafeh was also very tasty and was up to standard of some of our Lebanese foodie friends, comparable to their favourites made by relatives. There are a number of other desserts available including brownies, panacotta, deconstructed cheese cake, sticky date pudding and many more. Make sure you check out the last course if dining in the area or after a show. The staff here a very friendly and will be sure to make you feel welcome.

Sunday 11 February 2024 - Newtown Found this hidden gem in Newtown and we will be coming back to try many more items from the menu as on this occasion we ate only desserts and every item we ordered was simply amazing. The restaurant is immaculate, very clean including the washroom and you can see that the owner and staff take pride in keeping it that way. The food is vibrant, fresh and bursting with flavour. Great place to spend time with loved ones. There are many options to choose from with 2 pages dedicated to desserts and we opted for 3 desserts and a hot chocolate. KNAFEH This was delicious and the orange blossom syrup had a nice refreshing taste and was a crowd pleaser, recommend ordering this. BELCOLADE CHOCOLATE & SALTED CARMEL FONDANT Chocolate lovers will love it, oozing with chocolate in the middle and we opted for a scoop of raspberry gelato which complimented the fresh raspberry fruit and a perfect match with the chocolate. If you’re a lover of chocolate this will make your night! PANNA COTTA When I saw “Ferrero Rocher” it was an easy choice and tasted amazing. Have a look at the photo’s it will give you an idea of what to expect.

A relatively new comer to Enmore road close to Enmore theatre, the last course offers lots of decadent desserts, drinks, cocktails and a small tapas menu if you wanted something savoury before a sugar overload. There are many tempting sweets on offer including gluten free and vegan options. On this occasion I tried the French bread and butter pudding which was decadently layered with croissant and brioche with a good amount of custard to make it moist and dense. Its quite a dense, eggy & heavy dessert. The knafeh was not overly sweet, creamy and loved the rose scented ice cream which accompanied. Apple crumble was excellent with crunchy crumble on top of a pudding like cake. Perfect with an addition of vanilla bean gelato. Hot chocolate has nicely torched marshmallows and was fine. Lots of lovely sounding desserts to try although prices are a bit steep at around $22 (some are $17/$18, most around $22). The staff are super friendly which makes you feel welcome.

I usually go here for the peaches and cream crepes which are usually amazing. I will speak on experience based on two different occasions. On the first occasion I asked for ice cream instead of the whipped cream that comes with the peaches and cream crepes. I was instead given ice cream on the side and didn’t say anything because I thought maybe that’s how they serve it. I was however charged for a separate ice cream dish which is higher in price. I explained to the cashier that I ordered ice cream to replace the whipped cream and not a separate ice cream dish. She very reluctantly (like I wasn’t right) changed the charge to the swapped ice cream and with a frown that made me feel uncomfortable. On the second occasion, we had ordered only 3 dishes and were only contemplating a 4th but decided not to go with it and explained that we would order drinks instead of that dish (chocolate mousse). The waitress did not listen properly and gave us 4 dishes (the waitress was helping us decide and was there the whole time). On the same occasion, the peaches and cream had a hair in it and hence we were not comfortable eating it. We privately made the waitress know and said we would no longer like it ordered as it would be too late and we would finish our desserts. However she forced us to have it made it again and take it take away. It was still on the bill as well, by then we didn’t even want to eat anything anymore. We know mistakes happen, but the least she could have done was listen when I told her “don’t worry about it don’t remake it,” and her just say “no no habib of course not.” I didn’t even get a say or get a choice even after I told her I didn’t want it anymore. A little sad because I really liked the ambience of this place and just think the staff could be nicer, more attentive, and of better service. I specifically think that a dish that had a hair in it should not be on the bill. Not to mention, the repetitive mistakes, which I don’t know if are intentional or unintentional.

I do have to make note that the restaurant didn’t have any other customers, and the same lady that took my order was the one who brought out the entirely wrong dish that I specifically said I didn’t want, she still brought it out and we still paid for it. No issue, but come on, all of this in the span of 20 minutes, it’s not...

If you're looking to craft a delightful date or night out with friends , do yourself a favour for this place has the flavours for your eating and drink time shared together!

This place is a Culinary Gem: Dining with Heart

From the moment we step into this cozy haven, my husband and I (or friends) are greeted with warmth and genuine smiles from the staff, making us feel right at home. Their friendliness is not just a service; it’s a heartfelt connection that enhances our dining experience.

Now, let’s talk about the food! Each dish is a masterpiece, meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients that dance on our taste buds. The flavors are vibrant and harmonious, each bite awakening a new sensation. Whether it’s a savory entrée or a decadent dessert, the culinary creations here are nothing short of mouthwatering.

What truly sets this place apart is the attention to detail in every drink. The teas and beverages are crafted with care, offering a delightful complement to our meals. Each sip is a joy, perfectly balancing flavors and enhancing our overall experience.

The chef, a talented mother, pours her heart into every dish, infusing love and tradition into her creations. This familial touch is evident in the way her daughters assist in the kitchen, turning each meal into a family dinner experience. It feels like we’re sharing a meal with loved ones, whether we're on a romantic date or enjoying a night out with friends.

Moreover, the staff is incredibly accommodating when it comes to dietary requirements. They approach each request with ease, crafting dishes that not only meet our needs but also make us crave more.

In summary, this dining spot is a true treasure, where every meal is an experience filled with flavor, care, and a sense of family. I can’t...

I've waited 20 years for a dessert restaurant to open in the Inner West, so I couldn't be more happy.

I was scratching on the windows weeks before opening so I got to know the owners before they opened. It's an honest to goodness, family run business with mum as the cook and her three gorgeous daughters running front of shop.

The atmosphere is stylish, a little indulgent and surprisingly quite quiet, perfect for meet-ups with the girls, romantic dates or for a little something after catching a show at the Enmore Theatre.

The menu is varied, which is far from what you get at the chocolate dessert bars. It has everything from rich chocolate or caramel desserts or fruit-based desserts, down to more healthy and light vegan options. There are about 22 dishes to choose from and they were more than happy to make to my dietary requirements. They also take feedback seriously and ware always open to new ideas.

My husband and I ordered a dessert each. I had the 'Orange Panties', which was a mini carrot cake, soft on the inside and crunchy and caramelised on the outside. It was plated with cranberry compote, caramelised carrot, candied walnuts and caramel ice-cream which gave the perfect balance of textures.

My husband had the 'It's a physical thing' which was coconut and pistachio Knefeh, with orange blossom, dried sweet and sour cherries, candied rhubarb and fresh strawberries. It was new to me and totally delicious. It reminded me of the soft part of the pavlova, but was made with coconut milk, sugar and cornflour.

With such delicious food and lovely staff, I'll be a regular. I wholeheartedly support local business, especially one that has put their heart and soul into it like they have. Welcome to the...
