The Laughing Goat Cafe is a rustic cafe set inside a huge antiques store. The cafe blends into the store with reclaimed wood tables and countertops and antiques scattered into every available crevice.
We ordered The Hangover and Todd's Famous Eggs Benny, coffee and a honeycomb Supa Shake. The homemade Benedict sauce on Todd's Famous Eggs Benny was absolutely delicious. The generous portions of bacon was cooked crispy. The panini that nestled The Hangover was warm, soft and delicious. The home made hashbrown was full of herbs and flavours.
The coffee here is perfection. The temperature, smoothness and flavours are spot on. However, the Supa Shakes are just divine. They are loaded with just enough honeycomb flavour to make it sweet but not overpowering and the presentation makes you want to mount it on a shelf rather than devouring it.
The staff are incredibly friendly. We arrived at 10:30 am and there was not a spare table inside, but the staff were very courteous in letting us know there would be a short wait. Its best to book and visit early as the food is perfect when they're less busy. Will be back again to try the...
Read moreI have dined at Laughing Goat Cafe for a number of years especially when Todd was running the cafe, it was really great service & atmosphere, I also enjoy walking through the shop. But recently I ordered a cheese hamburger and chips. The chips were dried out and uneatable, the hamburger was bland with perhaps two little red onion pieces, a sliver of bacon and cheese - a McDonalds burger is tastier! I also ordered a bottled of orange juice, which he said I can pull from the fridge, thats when I noticed two different brands of orange juice in the fridge, the Laughing Goat brand $8 and the other brand $5.50, so I asked him "did you charge me for $8 or $5.50", of course he charged me for $8 for 350ml!! He never gave me an option of selection but wanted to charge at premium, would of been nice to acknowledge error on his part but ignored the situation, improve on your customer service...
Read moreI doordashed my food, and when it arrived, the brown paper bag was soaked in coffee, as well as the food container that came in it as shown below in the picture. Unsure who to whinge to, and doordash most likely doesn't care, so I'll have a sook here instead.
Apart from my desk and food being infused with coffee, the service was actually really good. Food? Really nice. Coffee? Still warm and tasted great.
Also, who ever it was who wrote my name on the bag, telling me to have a great day and even drew a little love heart on it? Please give that person a raise.
