Cafe NEO is a cosy little cafe that is decked in wood-everything giving it a great rustic feel throughout. The smell of toast and fresh bacon goodness cooking in the kitchen draws you in as you approach the cafe. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Smashed Avocado special today. The Campos coffee was made very well and complimented the breakfast. The Eggs Benedict with crispy bacon instead of the fresh ham was mouthwatering. The hollandaise sauce literally snapped my neck back in a mouth-gasm. Slicing into the perfectly poached eggs to watchthe yolk ooze out sends tingles all over! The special came with smashed avocado, on soy and linseed sourdough, with poached eggs, crispy bacon, grilled cherry tomatoes and crumbed fetta. This was unbelievable! I'm normally a big breakfast fan, but the flavour in this was intense! It has converted me. I may just have to rock a manbun, buy an annoying yappy dog and label myself a hipster after today's breakfast. The staff are friendly and asked about Miffy when seeing us taking pics everywhere! Highly recommend! We will (and have been) be back many times!

Kafe Neo is in the suburban streets of Kogarah and when we visited on a weekend it was thriving with customers and the regular cycling crowd! Heaps of people looked like regular loyal customers, known well to staff. We took a seat inside, ordering coffees whilst we perused the menu. Huge coffee with beautiful latte art and they use campos beans which is a popular choice for many cafe frequenters. We ordered the special which was toast with crispy bacon, scrambled eggs and tomato. This had a great flavour to it and we polished it off pretty fast. We also ordered the granola made by sonoma which was a lovely honey spiced flavour with heaps of yoghurt and fresh fruit: kiwi fruit, rockmelon, apricot, blueberries, watermelon and pineapple. Accompanied with a bit of milk. Plenty of appealing brunch options and lunch choices too - risotto looks amazing as a lunch choice. Some yummy looking scrolls and biscuits , we opted for the nutella cookie - like a melting moment but nutella inside! Divine! Staff were absolutely lovely and recommend this a great cafe and brunch spot.

★★★★ A Consistent Café with Thoughtful Touches I’ve been a regular at Kafe Neo for years and appreciate its reliable offerings. The coffee is consistently well-crafted, though I’d prefer it served a touch warmer. That said, the taste is quite enjoyable. Service is more than acceptable—though a warmer, more inviting smile from the staff could elevate the experience. Small gestures of warmth go a long way! The menu features creative twists, like their bruschetta and avocado on toast, which cleverly merges bruschetta-inspired elements. The pancakes are my go-to, satisfying and never overly sweet. Dishes are always presented with care, adding a polished feel to meals. It’s a solid spot for a weekend coffee or casual bite, especially if you value consistency and subtle creativity. Kafe Neo is a dependable choice for a relaxed outing.
