We had the steak n Guinness pie with mash and mushy peas, and the lamb shank, with roast potatoes sweet potato mash and yorkshire pudding and mint sauxe this was an outstanding choice on my part. The meat fell off the bone, and the potatoes were fluffy inside and crisp and golden outside. The Yorkshire pudding was bigger than my mum made but so good. For me, it's the best choice and fantastic meal. Dessert, we had the rhubarb and Berry crumble. The inner pie mix was fantastic and thick, not runny. Unfortunately, the crumble topping was not as good as it could be. More an oats mix and then put under a grill to brown. There was no real crunch as I was expecting. The melbec we had was devious, from Argentina, the staff were great even though they were down a few. No stress shown, and they smiled all day. It was my first time here in over 20yrs. The decor was beautiful and still had a great atmosphere. I would recommend booking a table for a Sunday lunch. It's also dog and kid friendly. Had a wonderful relaxing Sunday afternoon lunch. Thank you for the great...

The London is an excellent local pub, with long history, great location & a super nice vibe - you can’t go wrong here. My only tiny gripe is being unable to nab a table at certain times, however, it’s a reflection of its popularity & not something I can whine about! Bathrooms are pretty dated but we all don’t spend much time in there do we…

Service is consistently very good, there is always a decent amount of staff on & they are very well trained, knowledgeable & friendly. Nice inside & outside spaces to enjoy your time, they do get snapped up quick though. Quality range of events, live music etc too.

Standout here is the food, it is very, very good. Menu options are wide, varied & well put together - plus, lots of specials pop up to keep things interesting. E.g went there on St Patrick’s day & they had a few spot on menu items, my steak & Guinness pie was really good.

Have tried numerous other things & really can’t fault much… standout for me is their steaks & the Sunday roast - which is seriously excellent. Food delivered quickly too. So glad it’s one...

If you’ve always wanted to travel to London but can’t because you’re unemployed and heaps busy making a living in your mother’s basement painting world of Warcraft figurines; then the London is the place for you! Here you can release your inner travel bug for the cost of an Uber and 48 dollar pot of baller xpa. If you’re thinking “wow that’s like.. so unbeatable price prestige?” - you are catching on so well done! To add chaos to madness this place comes with its very own bench (free of charge Monday to Friday, weekend rates apply).

So what the hell are you waiting for? Grab a $20 note from your mother’s purse and head to the London, where the balcony acts as your very own double decker bus, touring London - all stops!

Ask Ella for a pot next time you’re down here seeing the sights. Thanks for showing us around London Ella, you were a super star and the highlight of our tour. (Authentic accent and all)

Opening around 1870 the London remains one of the oldest hotels still operating. Featuring a bar with indoor seating, an alfresco eating area along with an upstairs restaurant makes this an outstanding proposition for lunch or dinner. Excellent menu from calamari, cheese plates to start to fish and chips, steak, burgers 🍔 and lots more for mains. Very good facilities, professional service and fantastic atmosphere makes this pub special. They also cater for parties and other functions. There's also a terrace to have a drink and watch the parade of Darling St. Colino1861 highly recommended ✅️💯
