Balmain Watch House — Attraction in Sydney

We spent our time absorbing the history of the Balmain Watch House, built in 1854 to house short-term prisoners. At one stage, it housed a policeman, his wife and 12 children! It is now the home of the Balmain Association. The day we visited, we were surprised with the excellent exhibition TREES being held there, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
