Food: The food was faultless, I get to eat in a lot of great steak restaurants because of my work. The chef here knows what's he's doing and it shows in the food. We had the 500g 6+MBS Wagyu Rump and whole rack of pork ribs. Cooked to perfection.
Drinks: Average. A glass of wine arrived at the table a whole 15 minutes before the other 3 drinks we ordered for the table. I had to check of they missed our order. The negroni was unbalanced, maybe a bit too much campari. The 2 Tornado mocktails we ordered for the kids were entirely different from each other. At $10 for what is essentially a softdrink of cranberry juice and lemonade a little consistency would have been nice.
Atmosphere: Good, Interesting, a little close to the other tables- overall a nice inviting place to have a meal. Love the long chandeliers!
Service: This is where it sort of fell apart a little.
The server, when clearing out dessert cutlery at the start of our meal was a little too close to my wife's face with the cutlery she was holding. This might come down to how compact the seating and overall space is. Interestingly the server didn't notice at all. An accident waiting to happen.
Our server, while pleasant enough but seemed to disappear for prolonged periods and we found ourselves having to wait/ look around to try and find her.
I mentioned earlier the drinks came out 15 minutes apart. We were celebrating a birthday, would have been nice to have them arrive together.
I let the restaurant know it was my wife's birthday over a week prior when I booked. They sing, bring ice cream and make some noise about birthdays, and I was looking forward to the drama. It appears they may have forgotten as I had to remind them at the end of the meal.
Overall: A good meal and experience despite the bar and service niggles. Would have been 5 stars if they sorted that out because the food is fabulous!
We would definitely go back. Hopefully they've sorted out some of the minor hiccups for a proper 5 star...

I recently visited The Meat and Wine Co Bella Vista, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The customer service left much to be desired as the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. It took an unreasonable amount of time to be seated, and once we were, the waiter was indifferent to our needs.
The food was a major letdown. Not only did it arrive cold, but the quality was subpar. It's disappointing when you pay a premium for a dining experience, only to receive a meal that doesn't meet basic standards. The lack of flavor and poorly executed presentation only added to the overall disappointment.
Furthermore, the atmosphere was anything but inviting. The ambiance was dull, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. It's clear that the management needs to invest more in maintaining a pleasant environment for patrons.
In summary, fell short on all fronts—customer service, food quality, and atmosphere. This experience was a regrettable reminder of how a night out can be ruined by a lackluster dining establishment.
My dining experience at The Meat and Wine Co was marred by a waiter who persistently waved the payment machine in my face, seemingly pressuring me for tips. This aggressive approach was off-putting and created an uncomfortable atmosphere.
Tipping is a personal choice, and such overt solicitation detracted significantly from the overall enjoyment...
Read morePeople who are giving this place a 4-5 star review need to get out more often. This place was atrocious. We sat down and were greeted by staff who asked us “sparkling or still water”. We said sparkling, yet they still continued to pour still water for us… we then asked if we could change our tables as there was a more cosier table free, staff ignored us. where is your staffs heads at? What do you do while you train them? Lacks management skills and professionalism. We then ordered steak, I ordered the wagyu. I have had Wagyu beef all my life, and are quite familiar with my MBS. After trying this “wagyu” I was disgusted I had been served this chewy piece of rubber that they claimed to be “wagyu”. Also they served my steak on a worn out chopping board which you will see in the photos is DISGUSTING, not appetising at all. Over time, any cutting board (plastic or wood) can develop deep scratches or grooves that trap bacteria, which then spread to your food. When I bought this up to management, the manager tried to argue and say they sanitise everything thoroughly and would not accept their wrongs. It is his responsibility to Replace any cutting board when it becomes heavily scarred, which is not okay to serve food on regardless if it has been “sanitised”. Save your money and go elsewhere, rather than basic food charged at...
