Ribs & Burgers Bella Vista — Restaurant in Sydney

Went today and the place looks nice great atmosphere , staff is nice too, however, the food... much to be desired...

$45 for ribs that honestly wasnt really worth it, supposedly 8 hours slow cooked you would expect the ribs to fall off the bone, sadly it did not, there wasn't much sauce for the ribs either, Serving size was a grand total of 6 bones worth of meat, thank god it came with chips or id still be hungry and finally, the presentation, I get they want to make it look good but for that they sacrificed functionality, this came on a chopping board and chips in a seperate bowl, thank god they brought another empty bowl presumably for the leftover bones because i was able to put half the meal in that while I worked on eating the other half, i know im in the minority for this but I use a knife and fork for ribs so a plate with a rim would have served much better then a chopping board that the food could slide off... the ONLY good thing about these ribs was that the meat was nice and crispy thanks to the charing they did to it which I always love but I still expected more from this meal

I was having dinner with my Aunty so she gave me her review of the Aussie burger she had, $18 for a burger, you expect the burger to be thick and juicy, sadly not this time, the burger patty was a bit dry and chewy, I was given a piece of the patty to confirm and yes I agreed with her on this, the rest of the burger was apparently alright, the bacon probably a bit too fatty but the bun itself was quite good, but $18 ... we were surprised to find that this burger did not come with chips, let me repeat that, no chips came with this burger, if this were a street food takeaway place id understand, but this is a restauraunt chain... chips are generally expected...

Now, my Aunties and my plan was to have some thickshakes after the meal, but considering the the dissapointment of the meal and the price $8.9 per shake we made the wise decision to instead go to hungry jacks and enjoy some deluxe thickshakes from there, best thing of the night and got 2 hungry jacks shakes for the price of 1 ribs & burgers shake, and im sure it would have tasted 100x better

I havent written this place off quite just yet (just to give a second chance) but from this experience, Id not be willing to reconmend to anyone to go to this place... shame the area it is in and the view you have is quite nice

TLDR, visably nice looking, lackluster overpriced ribs, dry expensive burger with no included chips, didnt bother getting...

Worst service ever!

I placed my click and collect order at 4.30pm for my wife to collect on her way home from work at 6pm. She got there at 5.55pm and had to wait till 6.20pm for it to be ready.

Once she arrived home my order was not complete. Wings were missing. I called straight away and after the lady yelled to the kitchen to “check your orders” I got given two options. 1) Leave the rest of the meal to get cold and go back to the shop. 2) Go back to the shop for a refund, not able to refund over the phone. Worst customer service ever! I understand everyone makes mistakes, the way the mistakes are handled get a customer back to the shop. I have had some messed up orders from fast food chains in the past but red rooster managed to refund, McDonald’s sent out vouchers to apologize. It was my birthday dinner and I wanted to try your restaurant, ended up having family members upset that half of there meal was not there, thank you for the experience, one I will never forget! I complained to the contact support on the ribs and burgers website before leaving this review. No reply four days later! The food is not cheap and you would expect higher quality service for that price.

My order details were left with your online contact. But I will give them to you again as I do want this resolved as I had paid for something I did not receive. I will report to fair trade for investigation if I need to.

Went in for the first time with my wife as we happened to be in the area. The place had a really nice vibe. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. It was just before the lunch rush so we found a seat easily. You can either order from the QR code at your table or go up to the counter, which is a nice touch.

We went with the share ribs meal which included two burgers of your choice, ribs of your choice, and a large serve of chips. We picked the lemon and herb flame grilled chicken burger and the old school cheeseburger. For ribs we chose pork. We also added a side of fried chicken wings tossed in spicy buffalo sauce.

When the food came out we were honestly blown away. The burgers were seriously delicious. Packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The chicken wings were just as impressive with amazing flavour and a great kick. Everything was fresh and well prepared. My wife and I shared half of each burger to get a fair taste test and we both agreed they were excellent.

The ribs were tender, full of flavour, and just the right size for the meal. Overall we were very impressed. Great vibe, lovely staff, and food that absolutely delivered. I can definitely see myself coming back....
