NEVER COMING BACK. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Me and my family have been coming here semi regularly for over 15 years, it’s always been a no frills, very casual place, but we will not be coming ever again. I am not expecting extraordinary service given it is such a basic restaurant, however the lady who served us tonight was unbelievably rude and had non existent customer service. When we waved her over, she rolled her eyes and said “what did you call me over for?” When I was getting drinks from the self-service fridge, she raised her voice and repeated in a very annoyed and condescending voice “you can only take from the top 2 shelves” about 5 times. We only wanted to order one serving of rice because we were not very hungry, she insisted that if we all take even one bite, she would charge us for 3 rices. This has never been the case all the other times we’ve come to eat here. When we asked her about this, she started getting frustrated and spoke to us like we were toddlers. The food here is way too mediocre to be treated like crap like this....

Went in for a quick bite and snack around 7:30pm after a late lunch with a second person. Waitress was so rude when we asked if the $10 chicken and corn soup was for 1 person (answer was 'of course') and when we ordered one noodle dish to share got an exasperated look from her as if to say "is that all"... she was just so rude and assuming. The chicken and corn soup was big and easily could have been shared between two. We ordered two based on what she said, and it tasted terrible, hardly touched by either of us. I've never had a bad chicken and corn soup ever... but I guess there's a first time for everything including being judged for what you order (they were not fully packed and we left after less than 30min). Overall, noodles were okay, soup was terrible, service was terrible. Been coming here since I was a very young kid mainly for the nostalgia and previously reasonable prices, but I think this will be it for me. So many other places to go to in Kingsford,...

Just ordered from here off Uber eats. Firstly when we got our delivery the containers were leaking which meant there was broth absolutely everywhere. The containers are obviously not built for the heat of the broth that they are sticking in there so it would be smart if they fixed that problem. Secondly they got our order wrong and ended up giving us random wonton noodles. Third, I ordered a vegetarian noodle soup and it was by far the most FLAVOURLESS thing ever! absolutely no flavour at all and all of the NOODLES WERE BROKEN. I could not eat with my chopsticks because the noodles where all split into tiny pieces. This place used to be so good and its really lost its game. Super disappointed with my dinner tonight. Maybe its just with delivery that this happens? Maybe you need to actually go in store to have a better experience?...

Braised beef stir fried noodle is one of the very best ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Very Happy to find this gem!!! 👍 The serve size is good. Beef is very well seasoned and fried briefly first. The noodles are very evenly cooked, not too oily. Bean sprouts don't have roots, suggesting the kitchen pays attention details and put great effort to keep this dish at a very high standard. This Chinese restaurant is clean and comfortable. No sticky table/chair/floor. The decor is as expected. Cutlery are clean. Staff is attentive, serves a pot of hot tea pretty much straight away. Look forward to coming back for this and it try more.

My family has been coming to this place for years.. In fact, o drive from Ryde to Kensington just to eat at Dong Dong Noodles. It’s not fancy. It’s consistently good Chinese food. The bonus is… they cater for gluten free needs and why it’s worth the trip. Fast, great tasting and good value. I will keep coming back for the classics. Think salt and pepper squid, pork chops with black pepper and honey, variety of soups and noodle dishes. Their veggies are tasty, fresh and cooked just right. If you’re in the area, drop in for lunch or dinner. Jan will look after you and you will leave full and happy.

Great tasting Cantonese food. We came here for dinner. Ordered Salted Fish & Chicken Fried Rice, Beef with Scrambled Egg, Pork Spare Ribs Hot Pot, and Salt & Pepper Squid. All the dishes were yummy but the serving size for Hot Pot was really small so I wouldn't order that dish again. Waitress was so busy that she was running (literally running) and skitting around the place which made me feel a bit uneasy due to safety reasons. They needed at least one more staff on as she was the only one taking orders, bringing food out and clearung tables...
