I’ve never seen so much discrimination from security guards in Australia. I advice you to never go to this place If you are looking to have fun, chat and dance, cause they can kick you out, drag you out of there for no reasonable reason at anytime. Not mentioning they will never look in your face if you are trying to talk to them.. they feel they are Gods but they are just cowards with a high vis jacket trying to make people feel miserable. Very poor service by the woman serving me. Didn't catch her name and didn't bother to ask as she was quite rude- she stopped taking my order and proceeded on to helping someone else, making me wait, then being short and snappy towards me when she came back rushing me through what I was trying to order (I had to change my order several times as they were out of stock on almost all of their tap beers). Overall just a bad impression upon arrival and having unfriendly staff doesn't help improve the quality of the pub as it's already run down and smells horribly of dog pee. I'm a regular customer of the Royal Bond, I live 10 min away from it. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected by a bartender tonight . The bartender herself suggested calling the manager and said that if I had a complaint I could talk to her so I talked to the manager explaining what happened but there was not even an apology for the bartender's ostile behaviour towards me and the manager even defended the employee when I said the bartender made fun of me. looks like they are close friends.
