Here's an idea - how about you tell patrons that your kids cannot have a meal here on the menu, website, or even at the door. Loved having me and my family kicked out halfway through our meal. Food, atmosphere, and service staff were great. However, being kicked out midway through dinner, only to be blamed and said by the manager that it was my fault for not checking the website; who proceeded to proclaim bluntly that there is a sign on the website that doesn't allow patrons under 18 to be served hotdogs and other foods; a sign that I must have missed. (Of which there isn't any on the website btw). Does put a dampen on my meal. I should mention that while I am against the serving of alcohol to those below legal age. I was blindsided that kids cannot even eat the food served as well. I guess I just want to write out to the management and say. Just put a damn sign that says NO KIDS ON THE PREMISES. On your website, or anywhere. Something noticeable at the very least. I like Vermuteria and usually come here by myself. Just disappointed in how it was...
Read moreVermuteria is a charming and romantic spot, perfect for a first date, a cozy date night, or a long catch-up with a friend. The ambiance is absolutely lovely, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. The service throughout the evening was attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable.
However, it's important to note that Vermuteria does not accept cash payments. Unfortunately, this wasn't communicated to us before our booking or when we started ordering. This oversight did dampen what was otherwise a fantastic evening, especially since I had only brought cash with me. It would be greatly appreciated if this policy were made clear upfront, either during the booking process or at the start of the dining experience, to avoid any inconvenience.
Overall, Vermuteria is a delightful place, but I hope they improve their communication regarding payment methods to ensure a seamless experience...
Read moreI really want to like this place. Atmosphere is great and the waiters were very friendly… but the service was comically slow. Maybe we came on an off night, but a group of five of us waited about 30min for our aperol spritzes at which time we had already finished all our snacks. A friend came late, ordered a drink - we followed up several times and he ended up waiting for close to an hour. Finally found out they forgot his order and he had to skull it quickly as we had to leave.
A strange contrast was how relaxed and jovial the staff were , when we were all getting increasingly frustrated and impatient.
For such a small place, pouring drinks shouldn’t take so long! Pls sort out your ordering system! We want vermeturia to be our...
