My favourite dishes was the Lobster Taco and the Berries two ways...
The lobster was super soft and fresh and so yummy..
The Berries two ways i loved the chocolate mousse and the honeycomb that added the crunch, the icecream i didn’t really like but i like everything to be chocolate 😂😂 So that’s just me, i don’t really like rhubarb, probably prefer plain vanilla.
The Mojito whatever is inside was very yummy but too sweet!
The quail was very soft and yummy but i didn’t really enjoy the side salad, maybe because i don’t like salad 😂😂 my bad!!!
and the Softshell crab was crunch but soft inside, very tasty but i didn’t really like sauce on my papaya salad, it was too creamy for my liking.
But overall i loved this place.. Why? The service was perfect, they were super friendly and they also helped us select the menu based on their recommendation.
They were always happy to service us and they were always checking up on us with the food and drinks.
We were seated outside, not such an amazing view as you only can see David Jones and the Macquarie bank building 🙄 Not something i like to look at 😂😂 but yes it was a nice cool breeze..
Would i come back here? Yes I would and i would recommend it to other friends, family and acquaintances.
It was a perfect night, thank you for looking after...
Read moreThe service was great (very accommodating to my needs).
I asked if the chicken / beef was halal and they said it was however the staff pre-empted my query and noted there could be cross-contamination (amazing - read my mind - points).
They were sensitive to my halal requirement and suggested a vegetarian option to be safe. (Again - points).
Me being me - I wanted chicken and would push the envelope requesting if it would be at all possible to cook it separately to avoid cross-contamination. The kind staff member looked into it... And... Yes they were accommodating to that too (points).
It was a work outing yet I got to be a bro and enjoy a burger. The burger itself was good (not oily and drippy - actually a nice southern style fried burger). The chips could have been better (but not fatal to the score of this place).
Also in a good location and conveniently located near our office.
We also had a round of coffees - no issues there (my mocha was a regulation mocha - enjoyed it).
Further edit: came here with my family as well - they have colouring in stuff for children which is cute, again tested the halal thing (i.e. they cooked my chicken separately and catered to my need). Also enjoyed an affogato too (which was aesthetically pleasing but also tasted good - good coffee ground is used here).
Keep doing you -...
Read moreWorst coffee of my life. Cost almost $14, including the Sunday surcharge. The “Magic” was piping hot, but my flat white was colder than lukewarm. Forget latte art—it looked like they just poured it in a rush. Maybe the barista was alone, but for $14 in Sydney, you expect at least a decent coffee.
The place was full of tourists, and as a local, it was extremely disappointing. Definitely not worth the money, let alone the parking fees. No one acknowledged customers; I had to approach the counter just to get a table, and again when I wanted to pay. No one seemed to care when I left.
I had always seen this place busy and wanted to try it once, but I was shocked at how bad the coffee was. I didn’t even bother trying the food and wanted to leave less than 10 minutes after sitting down. Just because it’s a popular spot with tourists doesn’t mean they shouldn’t make decent coffee—especially in a coffee city...
