Untied - Rooftop Sydney — Restaurant in Sydney

Treated appallingly. Group of 20+ women for Hen's Pre-drinks, Booked weeks in advance with written confirmations. Arrived early at 4.20pm for 5.00pm booking. Although the outdoor area was virtually empty, we were sent away until 5.00pm so the tables could be reset and were refused entry even to the empty outdoor tables...Ahhhh poor, just not good enough! Arrived back at 5.00pm to be told by rude maitre de that our booking had been cancelled and our tables allocated to another party...!!! After some discussion we were allowed to go in and sit at a couple of tables towards the back. No sooner had our 1st round of cocktails/wines arrived (around $380 worth) and we were told to drink up and leave. REALLY...!!! A complimentary round of very weak shots was provided for the inconvenience...Thanks, but we would have preferred you honoured our Booking. I can't comment on food because we were moved on before we could even order any. What happened to customer service, for a large group who had been booked and CONFIRMED, why was our party not given priority, why did management not honour our Booking , especially when shown the confirmation, only to be shoved out due to Untied's obvious mistake in double booking. Surely the later party should have been advised of the error and that we would be leaving by 7.00pm if they could just be accommodated (for less than an hour) at the many outdoor tables until then. Shocking, disgusting lack of care or interest or priority to our Booked event (bottomless cocktails). If you don't want your event ruined DON'T go to Untied. So rude, I could go on but won't. I will say the atmosphere of the spaces was great, just a shame managements disgraceful attitude left a very sour taste in the mouths of our group of 20+ very frustrated women just out for a good night. Shame on you...

My friends and I spent our afternoon at Untied for their Soul Bottomless Brunch, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was electric — vibrant purple and blue decorations added a chic, modern flair to the rooftop, perfectly setting the scene for a fun and lively day out.

The food was absolutely divine — each dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and catered perfectly to the relaxed yet refined brunch setting. And the drinks? Fabulous! Creative, delicious, and generously flowing throughout the afternoon. The bartenders clearly know what they’re doing, and the quality was consistent from start to finish.

The entertainment was another highlight. Live singers brought such an energetic and joyful atmosphere — they had the whole crowd dancing, singing along, and truly enjoying themselves. It turned brunch into a full-on celebration.

A huge shout-out to the amazing staff who made our experience even more special. Georgia, Lori, and Izzy were all so warm and welcoming, and our server Christine was an absolute gem — attentive, friendly, and so on top of everything. And we can’t forget Saujan, the manager, who checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were happy. His presence and care for the guests really stood out and made us feel valued.

All in all, Untied delivered not just a brunch, but a memorable experience. We laughed, danced, ate, and drank to our heart’s content. My friends and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, delicious, and high-energy outing in a stunning rooftop setting.

🧐 We were chasing somewhere fun in Barangaroo and came across Untied with rooftop vibes, good cocktails, and a bottomless drink option that lets you build your own adult slurpees. Say no more.

🌴 It’s a sun-drenched rooftop that feels like a tropical playground. Colourful, relaxed, a bit cheeky kinda like being on holiday without leaving the city.

👋🏼 Staff were upbeat and very sweet they just wanted us to have a great time. They explained how the slurpee situation worked and gave great recs on mixers and add ins.

🍹 The bottomless drink option is where it’s at. You start with a base cocktail, then hit the slushie machine and add your mix of fruity flavours, syrups and little extras. It’s DIY cocktail hour in the most fun way.

🧀 We shared the charcuterie board ($32) — Midnight Moon gouda, prosciutto, spicy Spanish salami, cornichons, quince paste, baguette and crisps. It was fresh, well balanced and great for grazing between slurpees.
