WOW BBQ Chatswood — Restaurant in Sydney

I had a disappointing experience at this Korean restaurant. The service was horrendous, and the owner was incredibly rude. Despite it being a Saturday night, the restaurant was empty, which should have been a red flag. We previously enjoyed this place, but it seems to have lost its touch under the new management. The recovery changes have clearly not worked, and it was disheartening to see a restaurant we once liked in such a state. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

It is wow. The staff are friendly and attentive. They welcome you with a smile. The meat are fresh and tender and well marinaded. I don’t normally eat the fat from the meat but because it’s so tasty, I ate it all. Just be careful that the heat is not so high or you’ll set the fire alarm (just joking). We’ve been pouring the marinade on the meat and that probably caused the smoke to rise but you have to pour the marinade because that’s what makes the meat even tastier. The baby octopus is so tender, a little spicy but nice. The prawns are also delish. I like everything we ordered but most of all the bulgogi. My Lovely wife and I just experienced a beautiful meal and experience HOSTED BY EDDI.... This young man with his friendly nature with expertise and experience gave us both a very warm and welcoming experience accompanied with the many delicious serves of beautiful wyagu meat made our experience one of our best meals ever..... his friendly nature and friendly banter helped us relax to receive a meal served and cooked a little by us but mostly with his expert advice and help that was so engaging made our experience second to none.
