I have been a regular customer for a long time. No more. Each time I go there I used to buy 2 roasted pork rolls. However, they have at late, put less and less of the various salad that goes into them just because they are at the very commercial mindset instead good old fashion customer service. They never smile and appear to have no personality. Also I brought to their attention the last time I bought a roll, the the fact that they are reducing the amount of salads and even pork but the manager denies this and says they always make it at 19 grams. Not sure what she means by that since I don't see that they use any scales to weigh anything in the making of a pork roll. Instead of good ol fashion service and ask me what is it that I want more of, they did the opposite. They should take a leaf out of book from Plumpton who actually want your business and pack their rolls where you can't even close it properly. Just that they don't serve the roasted pork, just the traditional one. But Emerton being pretty new with the new Woolworths do and they pack their rolls also better. Good bye to this store. A...
Read moreNext to Coles. It seems to have many regular customers. The counter service people are busy almost all the time. There are a few tables for dining in.
Their fresh spring rolls with beef is pretty bland. Peanut sauce is gluey like a sticky paste and bland.
Peanut sauce at the branch in Parramatta has good runny consistency and taste better.
Deep fried spring rolls are not too bad. Seems like there is less filling than Parramatta and smaller.
Fish Roll is ordinary. The fried fish fillet is again not as good as the one in Parramatta. Bread roll is light and crispy. Wholemeal roll is great.
The young lady is friendly. It would be more hygienic if she doesn't put the bread roll on the bench where the little rice cooker is. The area is not for food preparation and other staff put pot and kitchen towel on. This can cause food poisoning to customers if the bread is contaminated.
4 different rolls and 4 deep fried spring rolls cost around $40.
Large plain sugar cane juice is $5.50. The juice is a little sour. Not sure if lemon juice is added in it.
Beef noodle soup is...
Read moreFood is usually very tasty, hot and fresh. But I have ordered from here 3 times for pickup on my work lunch break using doordash and it hasn't been ready or had some problem every time. First two times, order got marked ready to pick up but when I arrived they hadn't even started making it. Wasted all my lunch break waiting for it to be made and didn't get time to eat. Today it still hadnt been marked ready to pick up in the app an hour after placing the order so I ran down to check on it and it was ready just sitting there. I tried to flag someone down, just needed them to pass me the bag over, was ignored for nearly 10 minutes. Do not order from here using an app only come in person, and make sure you are not in a rush. I am a very patient person, willing to give second and even third chances in this case. But the food...
