Stuffed up a simple order for 5 people
The one star rating for food and service is only because I couldn’t give you zero, the decor and atmosphere was nice, but that’s where it ended.
Poached eggs on toast (2 x eggs on 2 x toast on menu) we asked for 3 eggs on toast, (thats 3 servings), 1 x eggs Benedict, 2 x coffee 2 x milk shake $85 sounds about right
Somehow we only got 1 x eggs on toast and not the 3 we ordered, when the error was found we then had to reorder the other 2 lots for another $30 dollars.
The young kids working at this place, and good on them for having a go, they truely need training, they looked like dear in the headlights.
Then there was the discussion on how our order was mistaken, I guess it was the manger, a young lass covered in food from working in the kitchen tried to imply it was our fault and we should except it.
Upon demanding a refund for the stuff up my son was given $5, but then had to reorder 2 more poached eggs on toast, at about $30.
We weren’t given napkins, we had to chase pepper and salt, the poor young obviously untrained girl that brought our food stretched the length of 3 tables to pass the plate with her arm right in front of my face, yikes, don’t blame her, blame the nonexistent training, she also did it with coffee and milkshakes.
So to the owner / franchisee, I won’t be back, nor will my family, and seems I’m a resident of Camden I’ll be telling everyone don’t go there.
Your eggs Benedict were very ordinary, your coffee was week and milky, poached eggs were ok, but a poached egg dumped on a bit of toast lacked any presentation, same with the eggs benny, and frozen chocolate on a sort of glass jar long glass with lot of ridges at the top almost killed my teeth when I tried eat some off.
You really need to go back to square one and pretend to be a customer, obviously you’ve lost your focus on what pays your bills, customers, not what’s cheap and profitable.

We will be going back there.. Eggs benny and coffee was very nice. Unfortunately thats where it ended.. Young, overwhelmed looking staff (some genuinely trying) but with poor customer service skills ..its not hard to smile, ask customer of they are finished before attempting to whisk their plate away (twice), ask them if they want their food warmed (such as croissants etc), offer them salt and pepper, if they tip you, say thankyou! Not so hard? Please, please, please stop making your scrambled eggs with oil.. oiley scrambled eggs are horrendous.. I had one mouthful and left them.. again, no one asked when my plate was collected if there was a problem with the dish, despite the fact I only ordered scrambled eggs and toast. I asked for butter and jam on the side so I could at least eat my toast, I was looked at like I was speaking gibbersih. I was given one tiny butter one jam .. if you have two large pieces of rye toast you probably need two? We ordered an almond croissant and it came out stone cold and tasted very, very average. The young girl taking the order did everything perfect, the cooks (I wouldn’t think a chef) out the back SHAME ON YOU!
Let’s just say lucky I didn’t have a food allergy, to scrape the ingredients of my steak sandwich that I didn’t request and then send it back out. Disgusting ❌
Not to mention we had been waiting 1 hour for the food to arrive, to then request a fresh one be made and this also came out wrong. I understand if I was being difficult but I literally ordered a steak sandwich with only onion, I would have thought this would have been the easiest meal they cooked today.
I addressed this with the manager who was also horrified that this had happened. She proceeded to discuss with the young girl and the cook to which he was not very happy.
Today’s effort was worth a ZERO rating, 2 out of 3 simple meals wrong! I actually requested a refund of the meal, this was not suggested which was also disappointing. After returning a meal for the 3rd time.
Let hope the back area staff pick up their game, today they were lucky, tomorrow with a different customer could have been a far worse outcome to someone who has...
