Yang's Dumpling Five Dock — Restaurant in Sydney

I’m a big fan of Yangs at Burwood so was very excited to try this out as it’s closer to my home. The xiao long baos skin was a bit soggy and the pan fried dumplings were reheated not cooked fresh. I asked the waiter about this after and he said the dumplings are all made at Burwood then brought over to fivedock. He was nice enough to not charge us for the pan friend dumplings. With a name and reputation like Yangs, I expect the food to be made fresh and all cooked fresh in the store, till then I’ll be avoiding five dock and continue...

Had a warm & tasty wonton soup on a cold winter day. The quirky music and peaceful, quiet ambience was just what I needed after a particularly stressful half hour trying to find a parking space in the Coles car park! When I mentioned this to the waiter, I unexpectedly received a complimentary serve of black sesame buns after my soup & then a free lemon tea drink on departure “to improve my day”.. I am appalled by the quality of the food from this place considering the reviews it has. The meal took over a hour to arrive via door dash, for this grade of food its embarrassing. The xiao long bao AND wontons were so obviously frozen meals and tasted like plastic. Let alone the seaweed.. Within the fried rice the prawns still had the intestinal track which contains waste or poop in them, which is just basic decency to remove. Shows the effort put into these meals… Honestly this is...
