Came here for a dinner with 3 others. We ordered the Set Menu for 4 people (四人套餐). It came with complimentary Pork Bone Soup, Triple Varieties BBQ (Char Siu/BBQ Pork, Crispy Skin Pork and Peking Duck), Steamed Choy Sum with Oyster Sauce & Streamed Rice. The category A option we chose was Spare Ribs in Peking Style, and category B option we chose was Combination Bean Curd Hot Pot.
Unfortunately, the complimentary Pork Bone Soup was a little bland, and the Steamed Choy Sum did not seem to be washed properly before cooking. On the other hand, the Spare Ribs in Peking Style was extremely tasty, with the perfect crisp skin coating. The Combination Bean Curd Hot Pot was also very nice: a mix of vegetables, tofu and other meats, in a delicious Cantonese-style stir-fry sauce. But, the standout of the night was the Triple Varieties BBQ; the tastiest Char Siu/BBQ Pork I have ever eaten, crunchy Crispy Skin Pork and fragrant, umami Peking Duck. However, the serving size of the Triple Varieties BBQ dish is a little small.
Service at this restaurant isn't the greatest. Most waiters are rushing and pressuring you to finish your meal, due to the popularity and demand for seating with waiting customers. They are also a little impatient when you are giving your order. Only the boss is friendlier to customers. Waiting time for food is not very long - it comes out quickly and fresh!
This restaurant is very affordable, and offers authentic, tasty Cantonese food. If you're looking for a quick in and out, cheap meal, and are not fussed about the service, this...
Read moreIf you come here during dinner time, usually there is a massive line out the door and that line are people who are lining up to order take away. If you want to dine in, you’ll need to walk in and tell the waiter that you are waiting for a table. They need to improve their table waiting service because when we were waiting, another group of family walked in and told the waiter a table of 4. The waiter was about to give a table to them before us when we have been waiting for awhile. It’s hard as well when we don’t speak Chinese and there was a language barrier there.
Despite their service, the food here are cheap so we don’t expect the service to be any better! We ordered their Peking duck set that comes with 12 duck pancakes and duck fried rice with complimentary bowl of soup to start for just $38.00
Duck pancake ⭐️4/5 - the duck is crispy and delicious. However the pancakes are served on a plate so you need to eat it fast otherwise the pancake itself dries up.
The duck fried rice was ⭐️ 5/5 - it was delicious and not too oily.
It is such a great feed for such a great deal! Highly recommend if you are in the area looking for bbq...
Read moreMy parents took me here for lunch and it was my first time there. My parents said it's one of the nicest Chinese restaurant you can go to. On the menu it says double varieties or triple varieties. I asked for double. And my choice was crispy pork and roasted duck and when the staff asked me if I wanted with or without soup, I said with soup. Then he made me think twice when he mentioned having with soup is LESS QUANTITY so paying $15/$16 it's more worth it having without soup. Noodles in their soup (what my parents had) was very soft and soggy. I was lucky that guy was nice enough to describe the dish I chosen on the menu being more quantity without soup. When it came out, it didn't disappoint in ANY way. It filled up my whole plate!!!! Very delicious and worth the price. A MUST TRY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you for delicious meal, compliments to the chef. Will definitely be back next time to have the double variety meal again, with different...
