Sweet little venue I would have never found had it not been for an amazingco experience my partner and I were on. The cafe itself was aesthetically pleasing. But the staff seemed a little weird. I saw a previous comment stating they were odd. That's probably the best word for it. We arrived not knowing what to expect as we're on a mystery picnic collecting food for our journey. I stated this and the young man looked at me asked what coffees we wanted. There was no explanation of what we were meant to receive and what we were meant to do. After I asked he told me we could have a drink and any cake from the fridge. Then an older woman (who I'm assuming is the owner) chimed in with a salty and displeased tone in her voice stating that 'they are busy today and understaffed so it will take longer for our orders to come out, but they will still honour us' We both thought that surprising to hear seeing as though we've already paid money for this, making coffee and putting cake on a plate doesn't take long and after looking around there were barely any customers in the cafe. The young boy seemed nice enough. Coffee was ok. Cake was delicious. But the assumed owner lady should re think the way she speaks to people or maybe reconsider not owning a cafe if she thinks it's too difficult to make coffee for people that have paid...

We collected a prepaid picnic platter for 2 adults as well as 2 toasties for the kids. This was part of an Amazing.co mystery picnic that we had bought as a Christmas gift for my husband. Our booking mentioned that 1 of the kids is vegetarian but staff must have read our booking incorrectly and prepared a vegetarian platter for the adults. My husband is definitely not a vegetarian. The server was unwilling to rectify this. Sadly the vegetarian platter included an inedible, soggy, zucchini fritter waffle thing. I love zucchini, fritters, and waffles but this thing tasted like “wet” for want of a better word. The platter must have been prepared some time before our collection date because the crackers were bendy and the cheese tasted like fridge. The olives and sliced fruit were dry and old too. The chutney was possibly the nicest part of the entire picnic platter. It’s a shame that the food was treated with such little care because it was expensive and it did seem like the ingredients would have tasted good if...

Great service! Beautiful interior with a breezy patio seating as well. Doggy friendly! Delicious coffee and hot choc!!

The food they serve is very health orientated, they don't even have hot chips on the menu! I liked the side salad having all different kinds of veges in it, however, the salad was too salty for me and the serving was small. We ordered the relish to go with our pies. Pies were nice but the fillings were on the dry side and the pie could be more filled. The relish was so sweet that we couldn't eat it at all. Tasted like tomatoes cooked in syrup, it was overwhelmingly sweet and liquidy. Sausage roll needed more flavouring. The steak burger was delicious but at that price, sides should be included. Overall a good experience. Unfortunately the pies didn't live up to the hype. I will try the pies from the bakery down the...

Noticed this place a couple of months ago and have been meaning to visit. So glad I’ve finally made it here. Really good food and at a price you expect to pay for quality. There are plenty of options on the menu to please everybody and a few daily specials. Today, some delightful winter warmers. The long black was great and I stayed long enough to indulge in a loose leaf chai as well. Made a little strong for my taste. The vego toastie and almond tart went down a treat. You can tell that effort is put into the preparation of the food. Definitely recommend a visit (or more!) here. There is plenty of street parking and there looks to be a car park next door too. Easy all ability access from the street. Delightful staff top off a very relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
