Joalah Section — Attraction in Tamborine Mountain

My husband and I had the privilege to stay at Joalah house , At Tamborine Mt Qld this weekend 25th May 2024. The cottage was exquisite, much more than was expected and Karen and Colin our hosts couldn't have been more friendly or helpful in assuring our stay was memorable and comfortable. Definitely must see when in Tamborine national park. Such a beautiful place! You can get really close to the curtis falls and take amazing pictures. We also went for a walk on a trail. Every path is well marked, the directions are clear, so you don't get lost. Beautiful rainforest, lots of birds. There's also a lookout point and a place to have rest. Spend at least an hour or two there just walking through...

A fantastically beautiful area of the park that includes the must-do Curtis Falls Track (1.5km return and not a difficult hike) that ends at a beautiful waterfall. (Find parking at the Dapsang Drive Carpark.) Also worth checking out is the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk featuring treetop walkways.
