We had the pleasure of having Brenden cater both breakfast and lunch for our wedding day, and honestly — the food was incredible. Every dish was packed with flavour, and you could tell it was crafted by someone truly passionate and talented. The pastries he made from scratch were absolutely divine, and we had so many compliments from our guests who were genuinely blown away by how good everything was - from breakfast to lunch!

Brenden was also so accommodating to all our requests, even when we had to reschedule due to Cyclone Alfred. Despite already purchasing some of the ingredients, he never asked us to cover those costs — he simply rescheduled with kindness and understanding, which meant so much to us.

His timing on the day was spot-on, and everything was ready exactly when we needed it. While communication was a little slow at times (understandable, given how busy he is running the café), his wife Roxy was always prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful with updates and coordination.

We also had the chance to enjoy Brenden’s five-course dinner at the restaurant, and it was a total experience — exciting, thoughtful, and creative. You can truly see the heart and skill that goes into his food, putting together unexpected food combinations in such a clever and delicious way. The whole place has a warm, light, and just a happy atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

Main St. Provedore will always hold a special place in our hearts — we’re so grateful to have experienced Brenden’s food, and to have had him as part of our day. Thank you Brenden and Roxy for adding so much heart and flavour to one of the most special days of our lives. -...

I really wish I took the time to take a photo.. but it looked so good I couldn’t think clearly. I got a simple meal. Cesaer salad and a latte.

While I was walking around, I mentioned to a near shop keeper that I was going to have lunch here. Her eyes lit up and she gleely said that I must get a sandwich. That the sandwiches are only ready after 11am as he bakes his bread fresh each morning and prior to 11am the bread is too warm to slice for sandwiches.

This would have been a regret, (to not order a sandwich) but my salad although simple was divine.

A hefty amount of homemade creamy luscious dressing, evenly tossed over each crisp bite of cos lettuce. A perfectly poached egg, quality anchovies, shavings of prosciutto and parmesan, and if I wasn’t on a low carb diet at the moment, it would have been accompanied but fresh croutons.

My latte was beautiful poured. Great grind and smooth milk.

The service was exceptional. Friendly smiles and greetings by not just the staff, but the beautiful locals which clearly love coming to this exquisite place.

I will definitely be back to try their weekend night 5 course degustation with pairing wines. What a treat this will be for me.

Well worth the trip (we’re from...

We found this gem on our second week of moving to the mountain. Came for breakfast but missed service so decided to try one of there lunch menu sandwiches. Oh my what a treat!! The bread which is baked on site was amazing! Fillings were fresh and decent portions. We returned to try the breakfast menu and once again remarkable!! I had the eggs bene and the wife had the mushrooms!! Delicious! Having had poor food experiences since moving to the mountain we were stoked to have had a beautiful experience here every time. The chef/owner and his staff are wonderful. We are planning to go there for dinner very soon. Will keep you posted! Dinner update** Dinner was EXQUISITE! Surprised the wife for her birthday and brought her here! We were so overjoyed with Brendon's 5 course detestation menu! Very intimate setting and to have the chef so close when playing up was a treat. The 5 course we're well executed and delicious to say the least! This pace is a must!! Thanks for a great experience! We...

Wow is all I can say. After finding this place at the beginning of the week after asking my partner out for dinner I thought we would try something new. He had never done degustation before (missing out if you ask me) so I thought why not take him to this experience. We were not disappointed, being a small venue you walk in being greeted and you feel immersed inside. Each course plated in front of you as you watch Chef Brenden perform an act of art. All I can say if I will be going back to try a different set menu (we were told it changes monthly) I will be going to try one or many of the beautiful sandwiches and breakfast menu. A hidden gem. Thank you so much, can’t wait to see you again soon.

If possible, I would give Providore 10 stars! An intimate, cosy but very friendly setting - it feels like you're at a friend's house for dinner, if your friend was a world-class chef! Brendan's menu was carefully curated, cooked and presented to perfection. We chose the complimentary wines with our degustation menu ($125 + $75) and were so glad we did! Celine, the mixologist, added a brilliant element by concocting a perfect cocktail as our "dessert wine". And waitress Emily was sweet and very knowledgeable, keeping things flowing smoothly. Book ahead, as places are limited, but you will not be disappointed

A fantastic tasting menu. Thoroughly enjoyed it and was worth the splurge. $125 for the tasting menu PP. Extremely unique dishes, he had a bay leaf ice cream included with the dessert which was delightful. Only feng shui issue I had with my long legs was sitting at the bar I had to sit sideways otherwise my knees knocked against it. Recommend booking ahead of time to get a proper table. They only do the tasting menu on Fridays and Saturdays and the menu changes every month.
