The Mountain Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Tamborine Mountain

This is a great little place if you're keen on great service and good value. The staff here were all warm and welcoming on a chilly day. Set away from regular tourist spots on the mountain, this place is perfect for something a bit quieter in terms of real conversation and soaking up the good vibes. The turmeric coconut milk latte was light and fluffy with a beautiful smooth taste. I also got poached eggs on toast for a quick protein hit. Toast was gluten free with just the right amount of butter melting into it. My cohort ordered the pancakes with maple syrup and icecream and was not disappointed. They presented well and were light, fluffy and delicious. Im making this my "go to" cafe on the mountain from now on.

We had lunch here for my Dad's birthday. There were a couple of chairs less than we needed for our pre-booked group, but that was quickly rectified. Food and drinks came out quite quickly for how busy they were. My caesar salad with smoked salmon was just delicious and it was an enormous serving with more than an average amount of salmon added. My oldest said his burger was an average coffee shop burger and his thick shake a relatively generic shake with peanut butter to make it a snickers shake, I think he just expected something with taste that was going to 'wow' him, but it didn't. All in all though, there is a nice atmosphere to the place and the service and staff were great. Would stop in again if I was up...

Very disappointing breakfast yesterday on Sat mid morning Spent $50 for 2 egg dishes and 2 coffee Asked for and paid for 1 coffee to be a mug. So paid extra . Came out in a glass certainly not the size of the mugs I m told this is also served as a mug No offer to change to the mug we paid for.and asked for 1 breakfast came then the 2nd came 15 mins later. Stone cold.
