WOW WOW WOW! The prawn twisters and prawn cutlets are amazing. The giant calamari rings are almost a mean on their own and the whiting melts in your mouth. My first visit was because there was nothing else open and lucky for that. Although there was a queue out the door and 6 deep onto the footpath the service was fast and professional. The next day I went early and was the only customer, having a friendly chat with the owners I was treated to a custom made prawn cutlet burger - which should absolutely be on the menu. Thank GOD there are still a few traditional fish and chips shops with good old fashioned customer service and quality food. Please don't change anything, there is no need to go woke or get rid of Styrofoam packaging. No one likes the taste of cardboard in their food or straws. Thanks again....

Hook ‘n Cook is a short drive from the Pacific Motorway and is the perfect spot to stop and have a delicious meal with a stunning view. You’ll find it across the road from the Myall River in Tea Gardens, where you can find plenty of parking, tables at the water’s edge or inside the air conditioned shop.

The menu includes a large range of seafood and non seafood options at very reasonable prices, as well as a huge range of drinks and ice creams. I especially love the self serve station for all your sauce and salt needs.

Blowing a gale, cold and wet, so fish n chips on the menu. Excellent choice and all within nirm ranges. Went the special box - prawn cutlets, calamari, coconut prawns, fish bits and another but recognisable marine fried food stuff. Chips nice, other food all really middle of road. I'm relying on my wife's opinion as I don't do prawns. Whilst waiting saw thousands of bats out on the dusk gale force winds. Bats were more memorable than food, but it doesn't make it a bad thing.
