We were working on a house in Tea Gardens and arrived late on Sunday afternoon for an early start Monday morning. I found The Garden Eatery online and booked for the three of us. We are all fully vaccinated and as we were signing in the staff at the front of the club said we couldnât dine in we could only do takeaway. We often have worked in the country since the end of lockdown and this was the first time weâve been told this rule however I wish they had stated their rules online we would have organised another dinner. Last Saturday night, the first night of the current NSW-wide lockdown, we put in a takeaway order for our favourite Chinese meals by the internet. The gluten-free options were very clear and available. As well, the cooked meals were able to be picked up promptly, despite the difficulties imposed by the lockdown. The chef himself brought the meals out to my waiting car! The choices were as delicious as always. I thank both Jenny and her team for rising to the occasion to provide excellent customer service.    Read moreI have tried this restaurant a few times. Just about given up e.g. rang and booked, left a message, requested a call back, didn't happen. I had to ring again to confirm booking. This is the second time this has happened. Then the meal ... could not cook an omelette đ© but it's a Chinese restaurant! This is the third time this has happened! And when we got the meal we had ordered, all the vegetables were raw, not par boiled but raw!
