We were on a nostalgic trip to Tea Gardens from the Mid North Coast yesterday 22 November as we hadn't been back for 17years, so quite a bit had changed to us. We stopped at the Bakery for coffee and a bite to eat. Our first impression was really good, the young girl who served us, ( brunette but didn't get her name unfortunately) was so lovely and very obliging in every way. My husband settled on the Vanilla Slice ($5) with long black Coffee and I decided on Blueberry Muffin ($5) and long black coffee as well. (We had this as a take away and went across the road and sat on bench seats overlooking the Myall River) The Muffin was absolutely beautiful, full of luscious Blueberries and the texture of the cake was divine, the coffee was hot and tasty. Hubby had the Vanilla slice and was absolutely delicious. This was the high light of our day. Definitely recommend this Bakery, Wonderful serve and delicious muffins and Vanilla slice. Nice and informal dining, with a nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sweets didn’t look too good, but I recommend all the other food.
